MEET OUR TEAM

Our team of Mancunians is constantly in search of the latest offerings in our city. We created this site so you may master Manchester like us. So, you can trust that our content is researched thoroughly based on personal experience and objective data. Here are some of our members:

Andrea Smith

Andrea Smith

CEO, Co-founder

Andrea Smith, CEO and co-founder of Master Manchester, is a published author of historical fiction. After completing her Art History and English Literature degree at The University of Manchester, she started writing short stories that feature hidden histories and eccentric characters, most of them based in her hometown of Rusholme. Andrea says that she helped create Master Manchester to do something similar: to spot and write stories that will resonate with Mancunians. In her free time, Andrea enjoys exploring the city in search of new dining places, great coffee, and vintage finds. When she’s not up and about, you’ll find her curled up on the couch with her cat while getting lost in the latest role-playing video game.

How do we review things?

Our core belief is that when you do something, you ought to do it right. So, our reviews are based on extensive research.

We scour platforms and databases to pin down our viable options, check out different resources, visit businesses, try out their services, look for referrals, and do polls.

To ensure we find the cream of the crop each time, we apply a strict set of standards and delve into our spreadsheets to compare each service provider.

How do we make money?

Master Manchester is reader-supported, so we may earn commissions when you sometimes click links on our site. However, we do not sell reviews, so this factor does not affect our insights.

We maintain our integrity by only recommending the products we genuinely believe in and criticising those we think don't offer good value to consumers.
