“I absolutely love booking in with Sammi for a massage – I’ve recently booked The Balancing One, which leaves me feeling super relaxed, loose and de-stressed. Sammi is highly professional and truly understands her practice – I would recommend her to anyone. I always feel like I gain more than the treatment each time Sammi visits, whether it’s related to diet, healthy habits or skincare tips – Sammi is an all round wellness guru for everything mind and body!”
“Sammi is an incredible masseuse. We’ve had several deep tissue massages from her using the couple’s package. As well as giving the best, most relaxing massages I’ve ever had she is a lovely person and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.”

Sarasin Spa stood out to us for offering a wide range of services. Here, they have offerings from traditional Thai massages to invigorating body scrubs and makeovers in their salon.
For this, we believe that they’re ideal for those seeking a one-stop destination for grooming and relaxation.
Furthermore, we particularly appreciate that they are open every day and even open earlier than other massage places in the area. This is perfect for those who want to indulge in some early morning pampering before starting their day.
They’re also conveniently located on Bradley Street – making them easy to find. However, parking can be an issue during peak times, so we suggest walking or using public transportation if you plan to visit.
They accept walk-in clients, but we opt to book an appointment ahead of time every time we visit. We give them props as their customer service was prompt and efficient which makes the booking process a breeze.
Whenever we visited, the staff were lovely and greeted us warmly upon arrival, which made us feel right at home.
Lastly, with massage prices starting at only £37, we believe that they offer a reasonable and competitive rate. For this, we will definitely be coming back for more.
Pros
- Wide range of services
- Operational every day with early opening time
- Accepts walk-ins
- Smooth booking service
- Warm staff members
Cons
- Limited parking
Really knows that they’re doing
“Booked an hours’ Swedish massage at the last minute because of a stiff neck and restless sleep. I arrived in ample time and was warmly welcomed by reception. Tina introduced herself as my masseuse and proceeded to lead me to my massage room well ahead of time. She confirmed my massage request and I have to say, she really knows what she is doing because after my massage, the tension around my neck and shoulder was non existent, I felt more flexible and I had a restful sleep.”

NiniSpa offers spa membership options that save up to 10% off on regular visits. For us, this makes them ideal for those who want to stick with one massage place and get a good deal.
Furthermore, these memberships are particularly useful as their services start at £70. We’re a bit iffy as this is quite expensive when compared to other establishments in the area.
Despite the cost, we believe they’re worth a try — thanks to their accessible location on Blackfriars Road. We’re able to easily reach them through public transportation and they also offer ample parking spots for those who drive.
Additionally, we appreciate that they’re open every day. Although it’s worth noting that they do close earlier during the weekdays.
While they accept walk-in customers, we highly recommend booking in advance. Especially during the weekends when it’s their peak time.
In line with this, we like that customers can book through their website or by calling — both of which are smooth and simple processes.
Finally, we can’t get enough of their talented therapists, who truly know how to provide a relaxing experience. We suggest trying their Nini Signature Massage, Relaxation Full Body Massage, or Hot Stone Massage for a truly indulgent treat.
Pros
- Membership options
- Accessible location
- Easy booking
Cons
- Expensive services
- Closes early on weekdays
Amazing
“One of the most, if not the most amazing massage I have ever experienced. First time I came here with my husband, we both left very happy with our experience so I came back with my friends and they had a brilliant time. Special thank you to Eve for looking after me and giving me a superb massage. The staff were so friendly and informative too. Definitely will be back again!”

100& recommended
“It was absolutely amazing… from the beginning to the ending of the ritual, Eve was extremely sweet and kind. She is perfect if you have a hard time to calm you down, she gave me my space to be relax, she make everything with a lot of love, you can tell this from her. I ended asking her if I could hug her because, she transmit to me the energy and the peace that I was looking for long time.
100% it is recommended and at the end of the ritual even I was her last costumer she didn’t mind preparing me a nice tea with cookies. Everything was lovely, if you want to treat yourself, this is your place, definitely I will come back.”

Beauty and Bubbles has been our staple since 2012. Although they’re primarily known for their nail services (that come with a free drink), we’re done gatekeeping that they also offer excellent massage services.
We also like that it’s easy to drop by since they are conveniently located on Dale Street. However, for those bringing their own car, be warned that they don’t have a dedicated parking spot.
We’re a bit iffy that the closest on-street parking (payable) is on Paton Street which is a couple of minutes walk away.
Additionally, their operating hours vary per day, which can be quite confusing. On the brighter side, we appreciate that booking an appointment is easy with their responsive staff over the phone and reliable website booking system.
Moving on, we keep coming back for their back massages that last only 25 minutes. This duration is shorter compared to other places in the area, but it’s also more affordable, starting at just £32 — making it ideal for those in a hurry or on a budget.
We also value that the staff members here are patient and friendly. In fact, we think that they’re ideal for first-timers who may be anxious about getting a massage since their staff are calming.
Pros
- Wide range of services
- Responsive customer service
- Affordable services
- Friendly staff members
Cons
- No dedicated parking
- Varying operating hours

For those seeking an authentic Thai massage without leaving Manchester, we believe that Zen Thai Spa is the place to be. Here, they have highly qualified massage therapists, some with decades of experience — ensuring a top-notch experience.
We come here specifically for their Zen Signature Thai Massage which is priced at £45 for one hour. This makes their rates one of the best in terms of cost-per-duration ratio.
Additionally, we like that they offer one of the most affordable couples and partners massage options in the area at £85 for 50 minutes. For us, this makes it an ideal choice for a shared relaxation experience without breaking the bank.
Booking is also smooth and easy as well, and we usually call them or book through their website. However, we must note that not everyone may have the same experience.
According to the surveys we’ve conducted, some customers have complained about not being accommodated right away despite having an appointment—and waiting up to 20 minutes to speak to someone.
Nonetheless, we think Zen Thai Spa shines in terms of accessibility. We give them a thumbs up as they’re conveniently located on Lever Street.
Along with this, they’re also open every day, giving their customers plenty of time to get a massage.
Pros
- Experienced therapists
- Affordable services
- Smooth booking system
- Accessible location
- Operational everyday
Cons
- Reports of late accommodation

Nu U Therapy offers a wide range of services. We like that they promote holistic health through facials, vibration therapy, reiki, and, of course, massages.
Furthermore, they also provide various types of massages such as Swedish, Indian, deep tissue, sports massage, and many more. For us, this makes them ideal for those who have specific massage preferences or needs.
We personally enjoy their Swedish back, neck and shoulder massage for 30 minutes. This option never fails to leave us feeling utterly relaxed and rejuvenated—a perfect escape from daily stress.
Their prices are also reasonable, starting at just £32 for 30 minutes. This affordability, combined with their high-quality services, makes them an excellent choice.
Moving on, they have three therapists here — each with their own specialities. Our go-to is Helen who is a certified integrative health practitioner.
The other staff members are also delightful. We appreciate that they address us by our names every time we visit and they’re also quick to address any concern that their customers may have.
Lastly, we appreciate their accessible location at St Ann’s Square, which includes free parking for those who will drive there. Just keep in mind that they operate strictly by appointment only and their operating hours vary each day.
Pros
- Wide range of services
- Certified therapists
- Accessible location
Cons
- Requires appointment
- Varying operating hours
Felt so much better
“Sarah is amazing. I had a long drive and engaged in intensive sports recently, so I booked a one-hour Swedish massage session. The entire process was very smooth, and it was clear that Sarah is experienced in meridian therapy. After the session, I felt much better and will definitely book a session with her again.”

Sarah was so kind and welcoming, she explained everything so well and made me feel at ease, you can feel the love and passion she puts into her work! It was exactly what I needed and I walked out feeling light, relaxed and so happy. Will be returning soon and can’t wait! ”
