Furthermore, we found that its diverse selection ensures diners can explore various flavours and find dishes that suit their preferences.

Another highlight of Zouk Tea Bar and Grill is the authenticity of its cuisine. Its staff uses high-quality ingredients and traditional cooking techniques, resulting in flavorful and well-executed dishes.

We also like that Zouk’s staff are known for their attentive and friendly service. In our surveys, many customers claimed that the staff is knowledgeable about the menu and are quick to address any concerns. 

However, there are also some concerns during busy hours, and Zouk experiences occasional delays in service. This can lead to longer waiting times for food to be served, especially if the restaurant is crowded.

In addition, we also noticed that while Zouk offers a range of meat-based dishes, the vegetarian options are relatively limited. So, vegetarian patrons may find themselves with fewer choices than their non-vegetarian counterparts.

Dishoom is a renowned halal restaurant that recreates the tastes of Bombay. They became a go-to spot for guests looking for a memorable dining experience because of their nostalgic setting and delicious Indian food.

With its stunning decor and ambiance, we think Dishoom embodies the soul of Bombay. We love the restaurant’s vintage-inspired décor, which is representative of classic Irani cafes and produces a one-of-a-kind and pleasant atmosphere.

In our books, Dishoom’s dedication to providing delectable, high-quality food is one of its distinguishing qualities. 

Its menu has a variety of halal alternatives, such as flavorful kebabs, fragrant biryanis, and hearty curries. 

In our opinion, this makes them a solid choice for those who have food preferences, such as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free halal dishes.

We also spoke with some of their regular patrons and found that they are praised for their courteous and efficient service. For us, this ensures a pleasant dining experience, as the staff ensures that guests feel welcomed and well taken care of.

On the flipside, while the quality and authenticity of the food at Dishoom are commendable, we found its prices higher than other Indian restaurants in the area.

Overall, the great dining experience at Dishoom comes with a premium price tag. However, it is important to note that the unique ambiance, attentive service, and overall dining experience contribute to the value offered.

All things considered, Dishoom’s enchanting ambiance, exceptional food quality, and attentive service make it a compelling halal restaurant for those seeking an authentic taste of Bombay.

This and That is a halal restaurant that aims to provide a diverse culinary experience by offering a fusion of flavours from various cuisines. They made it to our list because of two major reasons.

First would be their dish offerings. This and That stands out for its creative fusion menu, blending different culinary influences into a single dining experience.

They offer Middle Eastern shawarmas, Mediterranean-inspired wraps, and Asian-inspired rice bowls, allowing patrons to explore different flavours within one establishment.

We like their ample servings that provide value for money! Plus, This and That offers customization options for its dishes, allowing customers to tailor their orders to their preferences which is always a big plus in our books.

The second major reason is This and That’s warm and welcoming atmosphere, which creates a comfortable environment for diners. And what further enhances the experience is the friendly and attentive staff.

That said, there are some lowlights that we must mention. For one, a recurring claim from our surveys mentioned that there are inconsistencies in their food qualities across different dishes.

We think that this issue can lead to mixed experiences for diners, as their expectations may not always be met.

Furthermore, we also noticed that vegetarian options are relatively limited. Vegetarian diners may find themselves with fewer choices compared to non-vegetarian patrons.

Nonetheless, This and That offers a unique halal dining experience which still makes them a solid choice in terms of value for money.

Burgerism is a restaurant that specialises in scrumptious burgers with a wide range of toppings and tastes. They aim to deliver a satisfactory dining experience for burger fans by using halal ingredients.

From classic beef burgers to chicken and vegetarian alternatives, there’s a burger for everyone! The menu also includes creative toppings and sauces, allowing diners to customise their burgers to their liking.

Another one of the highlights of Burgerism is its emphasis on using fresh ingredients. The burgers are substantial and filling too!

Notably, Burgerism prides itself on providing quick service, ensuring diners receive their orders promptly. We think this is especially convenient for those looking for a quick meal during lunch breaks or when time is limited.

However, while Burgerism excels in burger offerings, we think its menu lacks variety in terms of sides and appetisers. There are limited options for fries, additional side dishes or salads which may leave some diners wanting more variety.

We also noted in our surveys that there are claims about Burgerism’s inconsistent customer service.

While some patrons have had positive experiences with attentive and friendly staff, others have encountered less responsive service or occasional lapses in order accuracy.

Despite this, we still think that for burger enthusiasts seeking a flavorful halal option, Burgerism is a still worthwhile choice.

With its focus on halal ingredients and flavours from different Asian cuisines, Gaijin Dumpling House aims to provide a unique dining experience.

We love how it offers a cosy and welcoming ambiance, with comfortable seating arrangements and a relaxed atmosphere.

The first thing that we liked about this place is its impressive array of dumplings, featuring different fillings and cooking styles.From traditional steamed and pan-fried dumplings to innovative creations, there is a wide variety to choose from.

Another thing we love about them is their focus on using fresh ingredients that contribute to authentic Asian flavours. In our opinion, the use of halal ingredients further adds to the appeal for Muslim diners seeking a genuine Asian culinary experience.

That said, while Gaijin Dumpling House excels in its dumpling offerings, the menu options beyond dumplings are relatively limited. There are few main courses or side dishes choices, which might leave some diners wanting more options.
