The 5 Best Podiatrists in Manchester

The 5 Best Podiatrists in Manchester

How We Picked

Credentials – We looked at each medical practitioner’s academic and professional backgrounds to assess their qualifications.
Range of Services – Since there are many services related to podiatry, we checked their scope to see how many of these are available in their clinic.
Location – It is expected for the patients here to visit with some sort of issue with their foot, which is why the clinic must be easily accessible.
Customer Service – Of course, how their staff members treat patients is also essential.

Pros

  • Competent doctor
  • Accessible location
  • Good facilities
  • Mobile podiatry services

Cons

  • Appointment-setting issues

Manchester Feet is headed by Mark Challinor, who is formidable in his field. We like that he is a fully-qualified Podiatrist and registered with the Health Care & Professional Council (HCPC).

Aside from this, he also has good affiliations, such as membership in the College of Podiatry. This means that you can count on them when it comes to being up to par with the field’s high standards.

Aside from this, we also recommend them because of their strategic location. Since their clinic is at Rochdale Road, you will not have any issue finding them, whether you use public or private transportation.

We also give them plus points for having their own parking space so that patients no longer need to look for one. Furthermore, the entire establishment is wheelchair-friendly.

As for those who cannot visit the clinic, we are happy to share that they have mobile podiatry services. This means they can visit you in your home or anywhere you will be comfortable.

The only thing that we wish they could improve on is their appointment-setting policies. There are many cases where they could not note a patient’s schedule.

With this in mind, we suggest that you always double-check with their front desk before proceeding to the clinic.

Pros

  • Multiple locations
  • Wide range of services
  • Discount for online booking

Cons

  • Instances when they were unable to call patients back

If you are the type who would feel at ease with an established clinic, then you may consider Chiropody. Because of their renowned experience in the field, they have four branches in Manchester alone.

We like that all of them are conveniently located so that it is accessible to patients with possible foot injuries. However, for this review, we will focus on their most popular branch, which is at Minshull Street.

Here, they offer a wide range of services, from basic concerns like pain management to more complex conditions such as Biomechanical Podiatry.

Aside from this, we like that they also offer Cosmetic Podiatry. This means that those looking forward to improving the appearance of their feet can also be assisted here.

You may book your appointment by phone call or online. However, we suggest using their website to set a schedule, as doing so will give you a 5% discount.

Just keep in mind that we have been receiving concerns where they promised to call a patient but were unable to do so. Since we noted that this issue has occurred several times, we suggest you take a more proactive approach if you need to follow up on something with them.

Pros

  • Good for patients with complex issues
  • Competent doctor
  • Straightforward pricing

Cons

  • Slow response time through call and email

Keep Moving Podiatry stood out to us as one of the best in Manchester because they can treat patients with multiple conditions. This is why we believe they are a great option for those with complex issues.

Aside from this, they also have clients who transferred from another podiatrist because they couldn’t receive the level of treatment they wanted. According to these people, they are pleased that Keep Moving Podiatry was able to step up to the plate.

We believe that they can provide a high calibre of treatment because of their lead doctor, Abdulrhaman Saleh. He is well-respected in the field due to his Musculoskeletal and Foot Mobilisation Therapy specialization.

Furthermore, we also appreciate his affiliations with the Health and Care Professions Council and the Royal College Of Podiatry. With all of these notable things in mind, we are also not surprised that he can provide a wide range of services to his patients.

Regarding their pricing, we give them plus points for being straightforward. For instance, the initial consultation here costs £60.

The only downside is that the staff can be unresponsive to phone calls and emails. Therefore, it would be best to drop by for all types of transactions, including setting appointments.

Pros

  • Composed of qualified podiatrists
  • Good affiliations
  • Wide range of services

Cons

  • Only operation for two days

We like that C2 Feet is composed of qualified podiatrists, which means that they can cater to more people. Here, all of their medical practitioners have a three-year degree in podiatry.

On top of this, all of them are also part of the Health Professions Council (HPC). This regulatory body helps medical practitioners ensure high standards of practice in their respective fields.

The only thing that we dislike about C2 Feet is that they are only operational for two days every week. This means that you may need to rearrange your schedule if you want to be treated by them.

With this in mind, they are also not a good fit for those who have emergency cases. However, we appreciate that they offer many slots during operation hours since they have the required workforce to handle subsequent consultations.

Another thing that keeps us positive is their wide range of services. C2 Feet offers treatments ranging from General Chiropody to Nail Surgery for Ingrowing Toenails.

As for those who want to get their feet checked, you may avail of their Foot Health Check at £25. This service lasts for 15 minutes, during which a professional will thoroughly examine the condition of your lower extremities.

Pros

  • Popular with patients with diabetes
  • Over 40 years of experience
  • Good affiliations

Cons

  • Can sometimes have a long waiting list

D Francis Podiatry Clinic is popular with patients who have diabetes. Since they require special care, they usually drop by the clinic for maintenance.

This includes regular nail clipping, inspections, and other treatments, which are carefully performed by a professional. On top of this, we commend them for being compassionate and gentle to patients with chronic illnesses.

Aside from this, they are also well-known for caring for people with tired and painful feet. Since there can be many underlying issues that may cause this, the experience of their podiatrist will come in handy.

On the topic of experience, we are impressed with the over 40 years of experience of their lead podiatrist, Delory Francis.

We also like that he is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), which ensures that he follows the best practices in his field. Along with this comes positive remarks from his long-term patients.

Overall, we think this is a strong option, especially for those with other health issues that need to be considered.

Just keep in mind that they are in demand, and it can sometimes take a while for them to give you an appointment. Hence, it is best to book a schedule in advance.
