We were fond of their service, overall. They test for leaks and only recharge your refrigerant according to the manufacturer’s proposed levels, making certain of optimal performance.

In addition, we found them reliable. We were pleasantly surprised by their availability, which is daily, even outside of regular working hours.

However, they’re quite tough to book in the summer. It’s all right since they’re very responsive and have added loads of spots, even squeezing in some clients into their busy schedule!

They completely won us over, budget-wise. Aside from being cheaper than most services in the area, you can save on gas because they’ll come to you!

We’re mad about reliable services, which is exactly Cool Car is. This South Manchester company specialises in air conditioning services, making them a one-stop shop for all your cooling needs.

Aside from regassing aircons and general repairs, these chaps offer R12 to R134a conversions for older vehicles. This includes cars, vans, trucks, horseboxes, and agricultural vehicles!

They’re also available seven days a week, which makes them accessible to hectic schedules. They do have a good coverage area, mainly in South Manchester, though, so if you live in other places, you’re out of their reach.

On a good note, they’re really reliable for people within their service area. From what we’ve seen, their technicians were quick with scheduling appointments and consistently arrive on time.

Plus, we enjoyed their service. They were absolutely professional and transparent—qualities we appreciate.

Apart from that, we also enjoyed their competitive pricing. They aren’t heavy on the wallet, which we love to see in this economy.

Auto Aircon Direct is appropriately named. They specialise in air conditioning services, making them a complete solution to keep you cool while driving down the road!

Their services include air conditioner regassing and degassing, as well as repairs and maintenance. The cherry on top is that they use a nitrogen pressure test to track down any leaks!

They’re a mobile service, too! It’s very practical that they’ll come to wherever you are. But since they’re located in Oldham, they’re not exactly the first to come to mind if you live in Manchester, since driving can take ages.

Still, we found them reliable. Their technicians work on all makes and models of private cars and commercial vehicles, and sell loads of replacement parts if you might need them.

We do appreciate their knowledge and professionalism by offering advice and being transparent about everything. Even with slightly higher prices, you’re still getting what you pay for based on quality and customer service.

You will pay a bit more, but you won’t just randomly get a refill and then full gas loss in a couple of days throwing away your money. As far as air conditioner regassing goes, Regas Any Car is a proper choice. Their expertise and knowledge in it impressed us greatly, and you can see why.

These blokes offer aircon regassing in petrol cars and in electric and hybrid vehicles. These types are still relatively new, so it’s brilliant that they know how to do it for old and new vehicles.

Additionally, their regassing service includes a free full inspection! From our observations, it’s a fairly comprehensive process, as their explanations were very detailed and clear, even for non-petrolheads!

You receive a proper service, too! Everything was done with transparency and there was no pushy sales talk!

It’s a shame they’re not as accessible as we’d like (they’re in Altrincham), except if you live in South Manchester. They’re also closed on weekends, save for bookings on Saturdays.

But we’re ending on a positive note with their discounts. Just text them “discount” and receive updates on special offers—brilliant!

Impressively, DLG Auto Repairs is one of the UK’s largest repair groups, given that they have 23 garages! One of them is in Salford, with a team that has decades of experience in the industry.

We were able to see their expertise when we observed how they work on things. For instance, their aircon regassing was completed quickly and finished on their promised timeframe.

One of their specialities is aircon regassing, as well as auto repairs. And it’s safe to say they’re absolutely spot on with their service, with some clients noting their cars were colder than ice after the regas!

Their garage is pretty massive, especially compared to other regassing services in the area! It allows them to serve more clients at once, except on Sundays!

However, it’s not all sunshine and roses. From what we’ve observed, there were a few issues with slow responses in the after-sales service.

Nevertheless, they’re good when communicating during the service, overall. Their technicians were honest about the whole process!
