Pros

  • Offers stylish dining rooms
  • Has halal and vegetarian options
  • Has commendable staff members

Cons

  • More expensive compared to other buffet in the area

We appreciate COSMO for their stylish and contemporary dining room. On top of that, we’re pleased to share that they also don’t disappoint when it comes to their dishes.

The presence of premium dishes, including the impressive teppanyaki and continental options, truly delighted our taste buds.

What’s more, we also commend them for the wide variety of choices. In fact, they also cater to dietary preferences with halal and vegetarian selections — earning major plus points in our books!

They also score well in the aspect of accessibility. Situated conveniently at Deansgate, their restaurant ensures easy access to diners.

On top of this, we also appreciate their availability during lunch hours on selected days – a strategic move that sets them apart in an area where such options are limited.

While waiting time was generally acceptable due to their ample seating, we recommend reservations for larger groups to secure a comfortable dining spot.

However, we have a minor concern when it comes to their rates. At £28.50 per adult, the pricing edges towards the higher end.

Nonetheless, considering the premium quality of dishes and the overall dining experience, it’s a reasonable trade-off for a memorable meal.

Furthermore, they also have reliable customer service with staff members who are willing to go above and beyond to assist you as you dine.

Pros

  • Hosts events
  • Offers authentic Indian and Pakistani dishes
  • Has polite and attentive staff members

Cons

  • Has limited food options
  • A bit far from the city centre
  • Very expensive

Merzee caught our attention because of its elegant and contemporary interior. On top of that, they also host private events such as weddings and birthdays — making them even more noteworthy for us.

We were impressed by the sophistication of their Indian and Pakistani halal dishes. We believe that they provide an experience that truly captures the essence of these rich culinary traditions.

However, it’s worth noting that their focus on dishes from this region means that the variety, though satisfying, might be more limited compared to other buffets.

Situated approximately 20 minutes from the city centre, we think Merzee’s location might be a slight drawback for some diners seeking proximity.

On the bright side, their extended operating hours until 11:00 pm offer a glimmer of positivity — making the journey worthwhile if you ask us.

It’s important to mention that while reservations aren’t mandatory, the establishment tends to get crowded on peak evenings. With this, we recommend that you secure your spot in advance during Fridays and weekends.

At £28.95, their pricing is one of the most expensive in the area, considering that this does not include drinks yet. But for us, their beautiful interior, delicious dishes, and customer service make up for it.

Speaking of customer service, their polite and attentive staff members are a big plus in our books!

Pros

  • Has a private banquet space for events
  • Serves authentic Indian and Pakistani dishes
  • Has affordable rates

Cons

  • Has limited  food offerings
  • Does not have lunch buffet

We appreciate Al Maidah and its two-story haven that not only boasts a delectable buffet but also doubles as an event venue with a private banquet space.

Furthermore, we were thrilled with their authentic Indian and Pakistani dishes, such as the flavorful kebabs and freshly baked naan. On the downside, it’s important to note that while the menu revolves around Asian dishes, options for other cuisines are somewhat limited.

Nevertheless, we like that they are conveniently situated near the city centre. This strategic location caters to diners who seek the convenience of enjoying an extensive buffet without the need to travel far.

In terms of operating hours, we applaud their extended operating hours until 11 pm. Just keep in mind that they also open later at 5:00 pm — making lunchtime buffet unavailable.

Their prices are surprisingly affordable — starting at £10.50 per person only. This makes them a great alternative to more expensive buffet restaurants in the area.

We also give them a big thumbs up in terms of customer service. From swift and accommodating table reservations to the attentive staff who promptly refill popular dishes, their commendable staff members add a layer of satisfaction to the entire visit.

Pros

  • Has an accessible location
  • Has  long operating hours
  • Has attentive staff members

Cons

  • Advanced booking is highly recommended
  • Has varying rates

According to our research, Bem Brasil is a well-admired restaurant across the city. In fact, it has three branches in Manchester.

For our review, we’ll focus on the popular Northern Quarter location. Situated in a highly accessible area, it’s no wonder this branch is frequented by many.

However, its popularity comes with a trade-off. We highly recommend advanced reservations due to the high demand.

Despite this, their extensive operating hours, spanning from lunch until late at night every day, allows diners to choose the best time for them to dine.

Here, they offer a wide selection of Brazilian-inspired dishes. With an open kitchen serving up mouthwatering char grilled meats, regulars have nothing but positive things to say about the quality of food here.

Equally impressive is their variety. We appreciate that they cater not only to carnivores but also offer flavorful vegetarian dishes.

Another positive thing about them is that they are budget-friendly, starting at £14.50 per person. However, it’s essential to highlight that their pricing structure varies based on the day and time, making it advisable to call ahead if you’re conscious of your spending.

On a more positive note, this team earns high marks in customer service. With attentive and polite staff members who are more than willing to accommodate special requests, we believe that the atmosphere is conducive to celebrating special occasions and memorable moments with ease.

Pros

  • Has robot-assisted table service
  • Has commendable location
  • Reservations are not required

Cons

  • More expensive compared to other buffet restaurants

Sakura Japanese Restaurant is a standout to us because of their robot-assisted table service.

On top of this, they also boast an impressive array of quality Japanese cuisine. Based on our experience, the sushi is expertly crafted, and the traditional dishes maintain their authenticity.

However, it’s worth noting that the variety is primarily confined to Japanese selections. This means that this may not be an ideal choice for those seeking a broader culinary spectrum who might find themselves slightly limited.

Accessibility is a major plus point since the restaurant is located at the heart of the city. This makes it convenient for diners to indulge in a satisfying meal before or after their shopping escapades.

The fact that they are operational during lunch hours is something we also appreciate, and it caters to the midday crowd with their delectable offering. Moreover, we’re happy to share that they’ve got the night owls covered as well, as they remain open until 10:30 pm.

A big thumbs-up also goes to the fact that reservations are not a necessity here. We think this is great for guests who don’t have time to plan ahead.

Unfortunately, dining here does come at a price – £29.95 per meal, to be exact. While the quality of food certainly justifies the cost, for us, that might not be the most budget-friendly option for those seeking a wallet-friendly meal.

On a more positive note, the staff members here are a delight. According to our survey of regular customers, they are knowledgeable and would happily suggest food pairing ideas for the guests.
