Menus
If there’s one—no, two things Erst is known for, those are its seasonal menu and its curated wine list.
This contemporary restaurant-bar almost always has ingredients ready for use— they switch up the menu every so often. What does this mean? Well, you can get some freshly cooked dishes to go with your wine, of course!
Help yourself to some of their oysters dipped in mignonette sauce—you’ll thank us for getting to savour the taste of the ocean! Which can be made even better with a pairing of one of their red wines. Either their Nino Barraco or Les Petites Mises will do the job nicely.
Pro tip
With the dim lighting that can give an intimate vibe, it makes for a great anniversary date idea! Though we’d suggest booking beforehand, since it can get pretty busy in the evening.

Brunch and booze go well together here in The Counter House! After all, why limit yourself to some late evening bar crawls when there are some great places for some day drinking? Better yet, a place where you can day drink with some friends.
The Counter House—with its urban garden, open space, and naturally-lit spaces—can help you chill out as you sip on their drinks. And speaking of chill, their red wines can be served iced, perfect for a hot summer brunch!
Our favourite from their red wine selection would have to be the Garnacha, for its sweet, juicy taste. It’s even better when served with their Steak and Egg dish, which balances out the sweetness with its tenderness. Together, they make for a good brunch option!
Pro tip
While their wines are no joke, we’d suggest trying out their spritzes, especially in the summer! They have a real kick that can get your stomach excited for the next meal.

You have to try their Original Munich Lager, if not for the sweetness mixed with the taste of hops and malts, then for the fact that it’s a classic! But if you want something simpler, we’d suggest ordering their Island Hopper Pale Ale for its fruity taste.
Because of its upbeat staff, live music, and rotating menu, it’s great to bring some mates over here! Drinking games will never be the same once you do!
