We like Una Más Chorlton for offering a serene and minimalist space. On top of this, the soulful Latino Jazz playing in the background also creates an ideal setting for a relaxed evening.

We learned that the customers appreciate the consistently high food quality here, particularly the Latin-American flavours. Some of the highly recommended dishes are the Peruvian Spiced Chicken and Argentinian-style meats.

Additionally, we give them plus points for their diverse beverage selection. Here, they cater to various preferences with options ranging from organic choices to chilled reds and more. 

In terms of accessibility, they impressed us by being open five times a week. This outshines other bars in the area that often operate for fewer days.

Furthermore, we’re impressed by their ability to enhance celebratory occasions. For instance, one of our colleagues even received a birthday card for her celebration—a thoughtful gesture from the staff that made her day even more memorable!

Another aspect we like is their affordable pricing. In fact, we’re happy that they have started main dishes for only £13.

Sadly, we received feedback from some patrons expressing concerns about an unclear service charge. The optional nature of this charge wasn’t effectively communicated, leading to confusion among customers.

With this, we suggest taking time to address this matter before ordering to avoid any unwanted surprises when the bill arrives.

The Chorlton Green stands out to us because of their live musical performances. Additionally, we like that they also provide an opportunity for those interested in stand-up comedy and various acts to have an enjoyable time.

When it comes to customer service, it’s worth noting that some guests raised concerns to us about strict gate protocols and reported encounters with seemingly rude and condescending guards. 

However, we also learned that others defended the staff, acknowledging that they were simply carrying out their duties.

On a more positive note, we’re happy to share that one aspect that consistently earns praise at this establishment is their food quality. This is particularly true for their well-loved Sunday roast.

In terms of pricing, they earn plus points for their affordability and frequent promotions. The most popular one is their complimentary mini Sunday roast for dogs which are available for customers who will order for themselves. 

The Chorlton Green’s food variety here also impressed us with a wide array of options. Here, they have burgers, chicken tenders, fries, and a diverse selection of beverages that complement the menu. 

Additionally, we think their range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks further enhances the dining experience.

Overall, we think that this is a great place if you want to enjoy live shows over delicious food and cold beverages. 

The Jane Eyre is a charming restaurant owned by two brothers who decided to honour their mother by naming the place after her. We believe this personal touch is what contributes to the homey and cosy feel that patrons often experience here.

Food variety at this bar impresses with a range of classic cocktails, interesting wines, local beers, and an array of small plates. For us, this diverse selection provides patrons with ample choices to suit their tastes and preferences.

When it comes to food quality, small plates such as the Beef on toast, Salt and pepper chicken, and Nduja carrots are some of the stand out.

Customers we’ve spoken with also rave about the consistent delicious taste of these dishes, praising the establishment for maintaining consistent quality with each visit.

We’ve also noted that customer service also is exceptional here. Patrons added that the place has a team of friendly staff contributing to the relaxing atmosphere of the bar. 

In terms of pricing, we like that they’re affordable. According to our research, diners typically spend an average of £10 to £20 only per visit. 

Our only issue is their accessiblity. While we appreciate that they’re open six days a week, some customers have expressed concerns about the varying operating hours.

We understand that this can be confusing, so we recommend calling in advance before visiting to avoid any potential inconvenience.

The Lead Station offers a unique experience as it was once a police station and now stands as a bar. We appreciate that they kept charming exposed brick walls that add character to their ambience.

One of the most commendable aspects we noted is their accessibility. We like that they’re every day and provide extended hours from early to late.

We believe that this flexibility caters to those seeking impromptu plans for a meal or a night out.

Upon checking their selections, we were impressed by their variety of food offerings.  Here, they have encompassing separate menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even a dedicated kids’ menu — so we give them plus points for that.

Furthermore, we learned that they really ensure inclusivity for all visitors. This is evident with the range of beverage offerings that span from basic juices to inventive cocktails.

On the downside, we admit that they are a bit on the expensive side compared to other local bars. Here, guests typically spend between £20 to £30 per dining experience. 

However, despite the higher prices, we think that dining here is still worth the shot. Especially since customers commend the staff for their politeness and helpfulness as well.

Trevor Arms has made a name for itself as a venue renowned for hosting live sports and entertainment.  For us, they create an inviting atmosphere for individuals seeking a combination of great beverages, and live shows.

We’re just quite disappointed that they don’t serve food here. Though, we found the real highlight here is their extensive selection of cask ales, craft beers, and premium lagers — making their drinks menu the star attraction.

Accessibility is also one of their strong suits. We like that they open their doors every day from noon until late at night.

We believe that this consistency makes it an excellent go-to spot for regular visits. However, customers should note the potential variation in closing times.
