Trek Bicycle Manchester is a Mancunian bike shop that has caught our attention. From our surveys, we’ve heard so many positive things from their customers!

What we like most about Trek Bicycle Manchester is that they have a wide variety of bikes available, from mountain and road to gravel, city, electric, and even kids’ bikes.

It’s also worth noting that unlike other bicycle shops, they only sell their own bikes. If you’re looking for various types of bike brands for options, then this place may not be it. 

On a more positive note, we commend them for stocking a great selection of equipment and clothing to keep you geared up for your cycling adventures. 

They also offer bike services at a 24-hour turnover guarantee. We appreciate that if they aren’t able to meet this deadline, they will provide a loaner for free.

However, one small drawback that we noticed is their limited operating hours. Unlike other bicycle shops, they are only operational for five days a week. 

We’re happy to report that Trek Bicycle offers competitive rates with units starting at £220. They understand that being budget-conscious is important, so they always have sale items available—something we really appreciate!

As for their customer service, we’d like to give Matthew a shoutout. He’s a superstar employee at Trek Bicycle, and many people we spoke with commended his excellent customer service and extensive product knowledge. 

From your initial enquiry to the collection, he’ll guide you every step of the way, which is especially great if you’re a first-time buyer!

Evans Cycles has three branches in Manchester and all of them are in an accessible location. For this review, we’ll focus on the one at Deansgate since this is the most popular one. 

We like that they offer a wide variety of bikes, including road, electric, and even scooters and skateboards. Here, they’ve got you covered from head to toe with their selection of clothing, helmets, accessories, and components. 

Their prices are also great for the budget-conscious. We appreciate that you can buy a unit for as low as £53.00 for a kid’s bike and £179 for an adult’s bike.

Plus, they also offer maintenance products to keep your ride in tip-top shape. We were impressed to learn that they also have a stock of Hand Pumps, CO2 Inflator, and lubricants.

Unfortunately, not everyone is happy with this offering. Some customers had ongoing issues with their brakes after a wheel replacement, and the staff at the Deansgate branch didn’t provide the desired resolution.

On top of this, we’re also a bit iffy since we’ve also gathered reports where the staff members came across as rude to customers.

On a more positive note, there are still those who enjoyed shopping here. According to them, the staff members are not only helpful and knowledgeable, but also friendly and witty. 

With this, we suggest dropping by the store and judging their customer service for yourself. 

First things first, let’s talk about the products. We’ve gathered opinions from previous customers, and let us tell you, Harry Hall Cycles delivers some top-notch quality.

Whether you’re in the market for road bikes, mountain bikes, electric bikes, or even leisure bikes, they’ve got you covered. We also like that they’ve got a fantastic selection of women’s bikes and kids’ bikes too. 

In their spacious 3,000 sq ft store, you’ll find over 100 bikes on display, along with a great selection of clothing and accessories – which is impressive if you ask us.

Now, let’s shift gears and talk about the prices. We compared the rates, and Harry Hall Cycles are on the higher end with bikes starting at £499.

The staff at Harry Hall Cycles are absolute gems. According to customers we’ve conversed with, they’re not just knowledgeable about bikes—they’re also incredibly friendly.

We loved that they won’t make you feel stupid for asking questions, no matter how beginner-level they may seem, so we give them plus points for that.

Unfortunately, Harry Hall Cycles is closed on Sundays, unlike other bike shops in the area that are open every day.

When it comes to products, we think Ridelow deserves a big round of applause. Their customers have spoken, and they have nothing but praise for the quality on offer.

Whether you’re eyeing a new bike, e-scooter, trendy clothing, or accessories to jazz up your ride, Ridelow has got you covered. Plus, they’re constantly expanding their product ranges, like the recent addition of New Era Caps and Clothing. 

Now, let’s talk about accessibility. We’ve checked their location and operating hours, and it’s safe to say that dropping by Ridelow is as easy as cruising down a smooth bike lane.

They’re strategically situated to cater to both online and offline customers, aiming to provide a pleasurable shopping experience no matter where you are. 

Ridelow truly shines in the customer service department. Their trading philosophy emphasises honesty, treating customers as friends, and achieving harmony.

We’re not gonna lie: they are a tad pricier compared to other shops. But here’s the kicker: they offer financing services! That’s right, you can get your dream bike and pay in convenient instalments.

They also do well in terms of customer service. We discovered that they take the time to listen, guide, and fully explain your purchase.

On top of that, we also learned that most of their staff members are bike passionate  enthusiasts. For us, this is a nice way of ensuring you’re riding away with confidence in your new bike. 

Another standout feature is their knowledgeable staff. We appreciate that they not only know their stuff but also have firsthand experience out on their own bikes. 

With this, we highly suggest this shop if you are on the hunt for hard working bikes for everyday use or long rides.
