Pros

  • No deposit, 0% interest, and pay-as-you-go financing
  • Same day, early morning, and late night appointments

Cons

  • Prices are higher than usual

Parkfield Dental is a clinic in South Manchester’s Didsbury neighborhood focusing on general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and dental implants.

Since the company has been around for more than 30 years, they claim to offer one of the best dental care in the area. Testimonials and reviews from their patients showed this to be true.

During our interviews with their clients, we discovered that the dental team is made up of two dentists and two dental assistants. This makes the clinic able to take a sizable number of patients in a day.

In addition, the company takes same-day, early morning, and late night appointments. This bonus convenience is one more reason to choose this clinic over any other.

Patients said they liked how the company let them pay as they went with no down payment or interest. They didn’t have to worry about extra charges from making an appointment to canceling it at any time.

Even so, patients still thought the prices at the clinic were a little bit high. So if you have a tight budget for your dental care, this company is not for you. We suggest looking at other entries on this list.

Pros

  • You can be a member and access their care plans
  • Offers payment installments for their treatments

Cons

  • Some of the receptionist were rude and off-putting
  • Booking an appointment is hard for non-members

Ocean Dental is a well-known dental office that uses the latest scientific advances to help National Health Service (NHS) and private patients.

The company makes it easy for patients to make appointments and pay by giving them different access methods. One way is to be a member of the clinic and get a set of care plans for patients.

These plans cost between £15.99 and £23.99 and include X-rays, checkups, dental insurance, and many other services listed on their website.

With these features, patients can get the best care for a monthly membership fee. Mrs. Cook said the membership plan helps her get dental care even when busy.

However, the clinic isn’t without flaws. Other patients we asked said that even though they thought the clinic was mostly good, they were surprised by the rude and off-putting front desk worker.

Several patients went on to say that the receptionists made them feel unwelcome and that their questions were either not answered or were answered negatively.

Patients also said that it’s hard to get an appointment because the clinic sees so many people daily.

Even though prices are bearable, patients often say that this clinic has tested their patience during the early stages of acquiring its services.

Pros

  • Prompt and very responsive
  • Has the widest scope of services

Cons

  • Is only purely a private dentist and rarely service NHS patients
  • Clinic is always busy
  • Waiting time is around 10–30 minutes

City Centre Dental & Implant Clinic is a private dental office that serves Manchester and the surrounding areas with high-quality general, preventive, and restorative dental care.

Because this company is a purely private clinic, they rarely entertain NHS patients. Patients have complained about this to us, and they said that the clinic booked them an appointment and canceled it once the clinic learned they were from the NHS.

An NHS patient gets a free or discounted set of prices to help struggling individuals get the dental care they deserve, so we can see why some clinics prefer to turn them down. This selectiveness doesn’t bode well with us, though.

But if you aren’t an NHS patient, this clinic is worth considering. They offer a full range of dental services, including dental implants and oral hygiene services.

Patients shared that they chose the company because of this range of services. It’s convenient that they can get all the treatments they might need in one facility.

They also praised the clinic’s ability to reply promptly. This gives patients the impression that the clinic takes their dental care seriously. This may also mean the clinic can accept urgent patients within minutes to an hour.

However, the clinic is always busy. That’s why the waiting time is around 10–30 minutes for non-emergent clients. Some of them said, though, that they didn’t mind waiting.

Pros

  • Free virtual consultations
  • Specialist in cosmetic dental care

Cons

  • Checkups are expensive
  • Inquiries are answered after days to weeks

360 Dental Care is a dental implant center in Manchester. This dental team specializes in cosmetic dental care and gives patients the long-term dental solutions they desire.

Some general dental clinics don’t offer the more complicated treatments and procedures, so patients from these places are then referred to this clinic for such services like dental implants.

Aside from more complex dentistry services, this clinic also offers free virtual consultations that can give patients an initial diagnosis and an idea of what the clinic can do for their dental issues.

Although initial virtual consultations are free, everything that comes after is not. Patients we polled complained about the company’s expensive checkup charges.

They told them the company would charge £82.50 for a thorough 30-minute checkup, which is a lot of money. A patient told us they talked to the clinic about this and were upset about the price.

He said that the company made an adjustment, giving him almost £32.50 off on his next checkups. However, the adjusted price is only for patients who have been there before. New patients would have to pay £90.

This is something they don’t give away during patient inquiries since they respond to them within days to weeks—a considerable inconvenience for confused clients looking to ask for the prices beforehand.

If you don’t have the patience for that, then this company is not for you.
