Stressed from a long day? Honestly, who isn’t these days? Doesn’t matter if you’re working your nose down to the grindstone or pulling all-nighters for an upcoming exam, stress is stress! And if there’s anything worse than stress, it’s how wound up you can get from it.
Luckily, Fallowfield’s got the perfect cure for a stress-filled day: a pint of some good old beer or wine! Liquor’s the second best medicine next to laughter, after all (but don’t tell my mum I said that).
And as it turns out, Fallowfield’s got more than enough medicine for all that stress! We’ve tried out these different bars, packed to the brim with good drinks that can give us a good time.

You can find 256 Wilmslow Road right on er, 256 Wilmslow Road, and it’s a great spot to get together with some friends! There are regular events, music, pool tables, and of course, drinks all around!
All that has made it a great place for letting loose after a day full of mind-numbing hours.
But if you asked us, the one thing here that gets us to let loose would have to be their Mojito. The kick of sweetness with a bit of mint can get us going for the night.
Okay, maybe that and the gooey goodness of their Mac and Cheese Bites, so that’s two things.

Here, in The Studio Bar, patrons can sit down on comfortable seats and watch the latest games on the telly. But if watching the games isn’t your style, you could always try out one of their pool tables or board games instead!
They serve over 23 kinds of beers and ciders, but one beer that you can’t go wrong in ordering would be their 4.1% Irish Guinness! It’s got that right balance of smoothness and bitterness that’ll help you unwind after a long day.

Their traditional hand-pulled beer is popular with the locals, and after trying their Hydes Original, we can see why. The mix of malts and hops runs smoothly down your throat – you’ll want to order another!
If you want a bite to go with the Hydes Original, we suggest the Pie n Chips. Especially if you’re looking for some flavour-filled juiciness with a salty kick to it, the steak in the pie plus the onion rings and chips can give you just that.
