5 Best Window Washers in Manchester for a Streak-Free Shine
I was this close to blaming my windows for making the whole place look a bit grim. Turns out, I didn’t need window replacement — they just needed a proper clean!
Finding the best window washer in Manchester means looking beyond someone who can simply wave a squeegee about. I wanted reliable cleaners who turn up, respect the property, and don’t leave the frames looking forgotten.
So I checked out the local options to see who’s actually worth calling. These are the window washers that can make tired glass look surprisingly new again.
| How much does window washing cost in Manchester? Window washing in Manchester typically costs £10 to £250+. A standard exterior clean for a three-bedroom home averages about £25 per visit. A small flat usually costs £8 to £30. A two-bed terraced house is around £12 to £35. For a three-bed semi-detached home, expect £15 to £40. Larger detached houses usually start at £25 and can exceed £75. Hourly rates generally range from £18 to £40. Commercial window cleaning can cost £50 to £250+. Adding interior window cleaning can roughly double the exterior cleaning cost. Prices vary with property size, access, and cleaning frequency. |
1. Crystal Clear Window & Exterior Cleaning Services
Address: 99 Turncroft Ln, Offerton, Stockport
Contact: 0161 480 9632 | 0759 503 5424 | [email protected]
Hours: 24/7
There’s no need to play window-cleaner roulette with these lot. Crystal Clear texts the evening before, so you’ve got fair warning to unlock the gate and make the place accessible.
Their standard clean covers windows, frames, sills, and doors, which saves the job from feeling half-done. The pure-water, water-fed pole system can reach awkward glazing up to 50 feet from the ground.
I like that it’s a tidy, practical setup without ladders clattering all over the place. It suits Manchester homes where upper windows can be a bit of a faff to reach.
The main drawback is that their water-fed pole system reaches only around 50 feet, so especially high glazing may fall outside the usual setup. You’ll also need to make sure rear access is sorted before the visit, which is worth remembering if your gate’s normally locked.

Excellent Gutter and Window Cleaning Service
I was embarrassed by our gutters. They had a forest growing out of them! Jamie and his workmate did a fantastic job. They managed to clean the gutters with the conservatory in the way. Just a couple of hours and they were finished. A fantastic job. Would highly recommend Crystal Clear for window cleaning, gutters cleared, and I’ll be booking them again for jet washing. Before and after photos added.

Thorough Interior and Exterior Conservatory Cleaning
I had my conservatory cleaned inside and out. Jake did a fantastic job. Nothing was too much trouble. He even cleaned all the windows on the back of the house. He was so thorough. I would highly recommend Crystal Clear Window & Exterior Cleaning Services. Jake is definitely the man for the job!!! The roof in the photos was filthy before Jake worked his magic!

2. Manchester House Cleaning Services
Address: 61 Mosley Street
Contact: 0161 676 2888 | [email protected]
Hours: Daily, 8 AM – 10 PM
I’m always suspicious when booking a cleaner starts with handing over money before anyone’s touched a mop. Manchester House Cleaning Services skips the deposit and runs seven days a week, which makes squeezing in a weekend clean far less painful.
For deep cleans and end-of-tenancy jobs, there’s a 72-hour re-clean guarantee if anything gets missed.
Their crews use HEPA-filtered vacuums and high-temperature steam equipment, so this isn’t exactly a feather-duster operation.
They cover both homes and commercial spaces, which is handy if your cleaning list has got a bit ambitious. The service range feels broad without making things needlessly complicated.
The downside is that window cleaning starts from around £90, which could sting for a smaller job.
The 72-hour guarantee doesn’t cover every service either, so check the fine print before assuming it does.

The team deep-cleaned everything in record time
I want to say thank you to the entire team for their dedication and patience, and also apologize for not clearly specifying the total size of the house. Despite the obstacles, the team deep-cleaned everything in record time, always with a friendly attitude and great attention to detail. Thank you so much for everything, and once again, I apologize for not explaining myself correctly. I highly recommend them—great prices and a spectacular team. Thanks again.

3. R’n’B Window Cleaning
Address: 45 Shaw Head Drive, Failsworth
Contact: 7970024993 (WhatsApp)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
I’ve got no love for ladders trampling the lawn like they own the place. R’n’B Window Cleaning keeps things ground-based with water-fed poles that can reach up to four storeys.
Their water goes through a five-stage purification process, with no soaps or additives needed. Glass, frames, sills, and external doors all get attention, so it’s not just a quick once-over.
I quite like the low-tech touch at the end too. If you’re out, they pop a card through the letterbox so you know the job’s been done!
The snag is that first-time customers usually pay an extra initial-clean charge. They’re shut at weekends too, which could be a pain if Saturday’s your only window for window cleaning.

4. AG Walker Ltd
Address: SK AC, 86 Bury Old Road
Contact: 0776 654 3074 | 0740 452 8716 | [email protected]
Hours: 24/7
Cleaning high-rise glass isn’t exactly a job for someone with a bucket and too much confidence. AG Walker uses IRATA-certified rope-access technicians for tricky heights, alongside hot-water reach-and-wash equipment for less dramatic jobs.
Their domestic service includes ledges, sills, and doors, which makes the clean feel properly finished. They’re available 24/7 too, which gives you far more wriggle room than a standard weekday-only schedule.
I like that they can handle both residential work and more demanding commercial properties. That makes them a handy option when ordinary pole cleaning simply won’t cut it.
The catch is that weekly and fortnightly domestic cleans aren’t among the regular intervals they advertise. Their listed commercial coverage leans more towards central, north, and east Greater Manchester too.

5. Manchester Window Cleaners Ltd
Address: House Office 54, 275 Deansgate
Contact: 0161 280 3540 | 07464 406 082 | [email protected]
Hours: Daily, 8 AM – 8 PM
I like having options, especially when one stubborn window clearly wants the old-school treatment. Manchester Window Cleaners Ltd offers both traditional hand-cleaning and pure-water pole systems for residential jobs.
They can tackle much bigger work too, with cherry pickers reaching up to 90 metres when simpler access methods won’t do. Solar panels get a gentler clean using pure water and non-abrasive equipment.
Their pure-water setup can keep working through light rain, which feels very Manchester. It means a bit of drizzle doesn’t automatically send the whole schedule sideways.
The catch is that locked rear access means they’ll only clean what they can reach and adjust the charge accordingly. Cherry-picker jobs need a site assessment first, so they’re not something you can arrange on the fly.
