A Day in Blue Planet Aquarium

Ah, the Blue Planet Aquarium—Manchester’s portal to the underwater world, right in the heart of Cheshire.

If you fancy a day brimming with marine wonders, educational exhibits, and the chance to dive with sharks (I mean, who wouldn’t?), then this place has got to be at the top of your must-visit list!

Before you grab your waterproof camera and head on out, let’s ensure you’ve got all the details sorted. Here’s your friendly guide to making the most of your day at the Blue Planet Aquarium, including a few of our personal faves to look out for!

Best Time to Go

The Blue Planet Aquarium is a treat to visit at any time of the year. However, it really blossoms during the weekends and school holidays when they host special events and interactive sessions (get ready to meet some sea stars up close!).

When it comes to scheduling your visit, it’s always wise to check their official website for the most up-to-date information. As far as holidays go, they are open most days of the year except for Christmas Day—because even the fish need a Christmas break, right?

Prepare to be both thrilled and educated as you step into the world of the Venom attraction. Here, you’ll get to explore the fascinating and sometimes dangerous world of venomous creatures, from snakes to spiders.
