What is HUKD Crazy?
HUKD Crazy, simply putt (couldn’t resist one more punny joke) is a neon-themed indoor golfing venue that’s filled with both physical golf courses and golf simulation games. You can find it around 35 Walmersley Road in Bury.
Since HUKD Crazy is for indoor golf, there aren’t any open areas in the venue – everything is inside a building. Once you step inside, you’ll see that the venue is divided into different areas for each course, with each course following a different theme.
There are also tables and seats around the building, plus a bar, for spectators. There are specific packages for those 18 and up, but anyone over four can join in on the fun here!
And if you are thinking of joining in on the fun, take note of the schedule below:
Mondays-Thursdays | 10 AM-10 PM |
Fridays-Saturdays | 9 AM-11:30 PM |
Sundays | 9 AM-7 PM |
As for parking, they have two large carparks that are free for use, so long as you register once you arrive! They provide free golf clubs, though, if you don’t have your own that you could bring along.
They also accept both pre-bookings and walk-ins. And if you have any further questions or concerns, you can always contact them through their email ([email protected]) or their number (0161 729 0666).
Why You Should Try Out HUKD Crazy
HUKD Crazy is perfect for golfers looking for an extra challenge! Their physical courses have all sorts of obstacles and turns, calling you to use your best putting skills to get a hole-in-one.
There’s also the obvious plus of it being an indoor golfing venue, so say goodbye to getting your golfing plans rained on! Plus, since there’s a roof over your head, you don’t have to worry about any of your golf balls flying into the stratosphere.
And if you’re big on vibes and aesthetics, HUKD Crazy’s bright neon theme might be an eye catcher for you! Add in the jukeboxes, music playing throughout the venue, and fun lighting, and you’ve got a place that feels like a party all day, every day.

What to Expect in HUKD Crazy
Golf Courses

HUKD Crazy offers two physical courses for you to choose from. Both of these courses are centred around two different themes and have nine holes.
Their “Kick Off” course is sports-themed, and you can find different areas designed to look like other courts. There’s even one area that’s designed to look like a tennis court, where you have to navigate around tennis rackets stuck on the floor!
“Roll Up”, their other physical course, is based on different circus and video games. For this one, you’ll be putting your golf ball around a miniature Pac-Man maze and a course that looks like it came straight out of a carnival fair!
As for those who want something a little less hands-on, don’t fret! HUKD Crazy also has virtual golfing simulators in a separate area. For that one, you can choose from a wide assortment of virtual courses, all projected on a screen.
Parties and Packages

Going in a group or for a special occasion? HUKD Crazy has some packages that can elevate the golfing experience!
For those looking for some fun for the whole family, you can book one of two Kids Party packages! They have a dedicated party area where kids can enjoy themselves, complete with a 45-minute golf session to their heart’s content.
Speaking of parties, they also have a Birthday package option that’s fully customizable! So you can choose your additions to the package, such as added entertainment and extra food like candy floss. You can even choose to add some party bags!
Or are you looking to get some good food with some good golfing? They also have packages just for that!
The “Eat, Drink, Putt” package lets you have a main meal from their menu and one soft drink while you enjoy nine holes of crazy golf. For those interested in trying out other games, the “Eat, Drink, Sport” package offers a virtual sport.
They also have a “Crazy Fridays” package, which is on, you guessed it, Friday. With this package, you can enjoy unlimited crazy golf, accompanied by a cocktail or soft drink.
And for those who don’t have a specific vision in mind for the golf hangout, there’s always the option to simply book a group event!
All you have to do is pick between two options: an event package for a group of less than 12 people, or one for a group of 12 people or more. Both packages include sharing platters of delicious bar food, lots of crazy golf and even more entertainment add-ons!
Other Fun Activities

While HUKD Crazy is a place that’s crazy for golf, it also has its share of other games and activities! Besides golf courses, there’s also a photobooth for parties and events and a live sports watching event for the boxing and F1 fans out there.
The area for the Kick Off course also has a few foosball tables, so your non-putting mates can play a round or two while you try to get a hole in one!
You can also find other non-golf games in the separate area for their other simulation games. Here, aside from virtual golf, they have virtual football, basketball, and many more virtual sports. You can even play virtual frisbee here!
It’s great for those looking for some more simulation fun! The virtual games area also includes some tables and chairs, so spectators can enjoy some snacks and pints while watching.
Snacks and Drinks

Speaking of snacks and pints, you can also get some good grub at the in-venue bar! The HUKD Crazy bar has a great menu filled with some mouthwatering delights that are great for sharing with your mates.
Help yourself to a pizza or a burger; they can fill you up! Or are you more of a sweet tooth? If you are, you can also order from the dessert menu.
As for the drinks, they serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic ones. You can order a beer or a soft drink, or perhaps a mocktail is more of your style. Whatever the case, you’ll enjoy toasting with your mates before or after getting a hole-in-one!
Tips for Indoor Golfing at HUKD Crazy
Before trying out HUKD Crazy, consider a few things to make your experience as convenient as possible. Trust me when I say that you’ll thank me later after following these tips!
- It’s best to pre-book a session. While walk-ins are allowed, I’d still highly recommend pre-booking a session in advance, especially if you’re planning on a group outing.
HUKD Crazy gets a steady stream of eager golfers, even more so on the weekends, so slots can be filled up pretty quickly. Which is why it’s best to book yourself a spot before someone else takes it. - Try to go on a weekday. Since their peak sessions are during weekends and bank holidays, you can bet that the place will be packed with people during those days.
If you want a course to yourself, it’s best to go on their slower days, which are weekdays. It might also be best to avoid going on a Friday, since people will be filling up the venue for some pre-weekend fun. - Drive over there as often as possible and as early as you can. Parking’s free, after all! And with how quickly it can get filled up, I’d advise driving there in the morning, sometime before noon.
It’ll help you snag a parking spot before someone else takes it, and since parking is free, you can expect a lot of people rushing to get one. - Take note if anyone in your group has any visual impairment issues. HUKD Crazy features dark lighting all around, combined with bright neon lights, making it a walking nightmare for anyone with a vision impairment.
For the sake of making sure no one trips over or gets overwhelmed by the lights, you’ll need to have someone who can accompany them as much as possible. - Stay up to date on their socials. If you want to save a bit when paying for a session, consider updating yourself on the latest deals and offers!
HUKD Crazy’s social media accounts post promo codes and announcements on discounts every now and then, so they’re worth a look! Additionally, since their availability on Bank Holidays varies, you can find out via their socials.
