Why should you try Teamsport Indoor Karting?

When I say that Teamsport is the country’s go-to go-karting place, I mean that seriously.

You can find a Teamsport branch in more than 37 places all over the country–it’s widespread!

But as for why it’s widespread, well, there are plenty of good reasons! So hop in for a ride down my list of reasons why you should try Teamsport at least once.

It’s good even for first-time karters

Teamsport is beginner-friendly! That’s right, even if it’s your first time on a go-kart track, there’s no need to fear with Teamsport! For every track they have, there’s always the option to take a quick beginner’s lesson from the workers.

Their beginner’s lesson includes safety checks, explanations behind the go-kart mechanisms, and clear instructions on how to operate the go-kart. Heck, even their website contains a guide!

You can even pre-book a session filled with go-karting lessons for both the kiddos and grown-ups! So if you’re bringing some little ones or someone a little too gung-ho to start racing karts, there’s no need to worry.

It’s fun for all ages

Speaking of little ones, that brings me to another reason why Teamsport is a popular go-karting choice–it’s got tracks and races designed for both kids and adults!

This means that customers can choose from a variety of races suited for different age groups and levels of karting experience. To find the right one on their website, simply indicate how many kids and adults are in your group, and voila!

Doesn’t matter if you’re a wee bit young or a wee bit old, Teamsport has got the track that can give you a racing good time!

They have all sorts of precautionary steps

Now here’s one reason that might ease your nerves. To the uninitiated or the faint of heart, go-karting might look one hundred per cent dangerous, and I don’t blame you! You’re racing around at high speed, sometimes going too close to other karts.

But before you panic, Teamsport has got your back! Every racer gets a safety rundown before the karting starts, and once everyone’s ready, everyone gets equipped with safety gear. There’ll be no racing without durable headgear to protect your noggin!

Rest assured, every karter will get a full rundown and safety check before the fun starts. What this means is that you’ll be in for a fun and safe experience if you try go-karting in Teamsport!

You can choose from a wide variety of tracks

Here’s another thing that might make Teamsport your go-to karting place. Not only do they have different tracks suited for different ages, but they also have tracks for all kinds of outings.

It’s how you can tell that they take their customer experience very seriously – they accounted for all different kinds of experiences!

Are you go-karting as a fun family outing? Then their Kids & Family race might be fun for the whole family! Or maybe you’re looking for a team-building opportunity with coworkers? Then, believe it or not, they’ve also got corporate go-karting!

So it doesn’t matter who you’re with or why you’re down at Teamsport Indoor Karting, you can pick out a track or race that best suits the vibe or the goal.

Once you step into a Teamsport Indoor Karting venue, you’ll be greeted with a sight that’ll pump your adrenaline just right!

Karts racing around at high speeds on tracks designed for maximum fun! Chequed flags being waved for each lap! And…a few more steps that you need to take before you hop into the kart and press on the gas.

Hey, a quick rundown can be helpful! Plus, you might appreciate knowing your choices before you go down to Teamsport.

Adult Race Types

For groups with fewer than twelve people that are all over 13 years old, they have the “Adult Individuals & Adult Small Groups” race. It’s designed for more casual go-kart racing or for those who want to improve their go-karting skills.

But if your group has twelve people or more, then they have a more intense experience in store! The “Adult Groups 12+” features a more high-octane race, one where it’s a race-to-win kind of deal! It’s a great choice if you’re the more competitive type.

Child Race Types

Are you planning on bringing your kids along to also go-kart? Then the “Kids & Families” race was made just for you!

Teamsport’s family packages have all sorts of child-friendly events, such as family racing, Boys Go Karting, and Girls Go Karting. You can even book a birthday party package for your little one!

Exclusive Grand Prix

Now this is for those who take go-karting seriously! Teamsport has its fair share of competitions and events for racers aspiring to be the Lewis Hamilton of go-karts. They’re all worth checking out if you’re feeling extra ambitious!

The “Exclusive Grand Prix” is for those who want to test their racing mettle against their friends. For this one, racers are taken through practice sessions that are all building up to a race for the trophy. Yup, the top three racers get actual trophies for this one!

Now, typically, the Exclusive Grand Prix takes 30 minutes, but there’s an option where you can go for even longer!

That would be the “Exclusive Grand Prix Extra” race, which takes 45 minutes in total to complete! It consists of a 15-minute practice session, a 15-minute qualifying, and last but not least, a 15-minute grid-start race. And of course, there’ll be trophies!

Membership Options

If you’re looking to become a regular at Teamsport, then it might be a good idea to also look into getting a Teamsport membership! And if you do decide to get one, you can choose between a Club or Elite membership.

As for why you might be interested in joining? Well, let’s just say that you could get some great offers and discounts, so I’d say it’s a pretty good deal! Especially if you want a free session on your birthday.

Spectate and Chill

Of course, there’s always that nonzero chance that not everyone in your group will be on board with some adrenaline-rushing racing. So they can always just sit back and watch, even somewhere as energy-pumping as Teamsport.

And lucky for those people, they can get some snacks and drinks right at Teamsport’s indoor bar! So while everyone else is zipping and racing around, they can spectate from the sidelines with a juicy burger or pizza slice in hand.

Plus, there’s free wifi all over the venue, so they’ve got a little extra something to do to kill the time!

Tips for Go Karting at Teamsport Indoor Karting

There are a few things that you need to know to make your go-karting experience even better. So here’s a list of some of the things to note down before you go to the nearest Teamsport branch!

  • Book online, it’s more convenient. Not only can you get yourself an early spot before anyone else, but you can even get 10% off when you use the code “GET10” during your booking.
  • Go on a Monday or Thursday. Weekdays might as well be peak days, since that’s when the place is filled with eager customers, so you’ll be hard-pressed to find yourself a racing spot.

Mondays and Thursdays, on the other hand, are slow days. This means that you have a track all for you and your group.
  • Wear the right outfit. Comfy clothing is an absolute recommendation! Anything too baggy or too tight might get in the way of all the fun, so best pick out something just right. Your best bet is to wear something sporty, especially footwear like trainers.
  • Know your helmet size beforehand. Racers aren’t allowed to try on multiple helmets, out of health and hygiene concerns. So get to know the size of your noggin before you head on down to Teamsport!
