This gorgeous garden has been in Worsley for over 150 years, and it stands today thanks to the community efforts of Worsley’s local green thumbs.

| Tips When Visiting Worsley, Manchester While this village isn’t as busy nor as much of a hubbub of activity compared to its more urban counterparts, it’s still worth learning these vital travel tips: Be camera-ready. You won’t see sights as historic or rustic as the ones in Worsley, with lots of picture-perfect scenery! So if you’re here to take as many pictures as you can, bring your best camera with as much film or storage as you can reasonably carry. Waterproof your things. One of the main draws of the village is its canal, after all, and you never know when you might get splashed by a boat passing by! So either get a waterproof bag or place your valuables in a waterproof container. You’d also want to get a waterproof phone case. Follow the canal. If ever you get lost while exploring (believe us, it can happen even in areas that aren’t so big), walk along the side of the canal while trying to find your way back. It can lead you to vital areas in the village that can help you navigate your way around. Don’t bring too much with you.
