CKE Law has been around for a decade. The outstanding part, which caught our attention, is their connections, local and international.

For instance, they have a global network of barristers and solicitors, showcasing their expertise in their respective fields. It’s clear when you look at their cases, as they’ve managed to assist and defend clients even in challenging matters.

We were also pleased that they have a wide range of practice areas, and that includes loads of matters under corporate law. They assist with purchasing or selling a business, shareholder agreements, mergers, corporate insolvency, and more.

We had no problems reaching them, but being proactive when responding wouldn’t go amiss. There were reports of slow responses, but most clients applauded their lawyers for giving updates.

They aren’t an expensive corporate law firm, either. They offer various payment terms and have been transparent regarding the cost, ensuring every client knows what they have to pay for.

Pros

  • Has a global network
  • Wide areas of practice
  • Offers various payment terms
  • Transparent about the cost

Cons

  • Some reports of slow responses

Prosperity Law has carved a positive reputation, earning a thumbs up from us. They’re recognised as a leading firm by Legal 500, which ranks law firms all over the world.

With a wide scope of practice areas, they can assist small to large-sized businesses in legal matters. They impressed us by offering comprehensive services, including mergers, takeovers, and the sale of businesses.

Their extensive corporate law services are one of their strongest suits. Their lawyers are experienced in handling challenging matters from different sectors, such as healthcare and retail.

While an improvement in customer service is appreciated, as some clients had issues with delayed updates, we’ve seen a massive improvement in this area. Their corporate lawyers have been responsive overall, apart from these hiccups.

Overall, clients take priority in this law firm. From what we’ve gathered, the corporate lawyers go above and beyond to assist clients, like responding even on weekends.

For a recognised law firm, we were pleasantly surprised by their fees—they’re not massively expensive!

Pros

  • A leading firm by Legal 500
  • Offers comprehensive services
  • Assists in all sectors
  • Competitively priced services

Cons

  • Some reports of delayed updates

Very professional and approachable

“Wanted to share my experience with Prosperity Law, especially Natalie who has got us over the line a couple of days when we finally completed on our purchase. Always available to respond to my queries, even during weekends on some occasions, Natalie has been very professional and approachable. I know it is your job but thank you very much 👍”

Rama Mulliah, Google Review

High level of professionalism

“After many years of dealing with law firms, I’ve come to realize that receiving genuine attention is not easy. However, this firm proved to be a rare exception. Their team stands out for its high level of professionalism, prompt responses, and sincere care. If you’re about to sign a contract, make sure Natalie Swift is part of the team — her presence is an added guarantee of the quality of service provided.”

Zoppi & Co is a boutique law firm that specialises in corporate and commercial law. Despite being recently founded in 2020, they’ve managed to impress us with their services.

How? They’re a boutique firm that can provide a more personalised service, even with purely online communication (an office to visit wouldn’t be bad, though). That’s one of their strengths: a tailored service to meet every client’s needs.

Their hands-on approach also made a strong impression. For instance, their corporate lawyers handle everything all the way through, and their turnaround times have been very quick—they produce paperwork in just a few days, even!

But their focus on small and medium-sized enterprises means they aren’t equipped for big companies. That’s not a massive issue, since they still have a comprehensive range of services, from registering company names to transferring shares.

Price-wise, they’re a reasonable option. Their fixed fees assure you won’t be surprised by hidden charges in the end!

Pros

  • Provides a tailored service
  • Has a hands-on approach
  • Fast turnaround times
  • Offers fixed fees
  • Reasonably priced

Cons

  • Not for big companies
  • No office to visit

Excellent bespoke services

“My experience working with Malcolm and the team at GZ has been very good till now. Malcolm is able to effortlessly combine his strong domain expertise in corporate law with flexibility & agility towards his clients’ needs, to provide some excellent bespoke legal services. The quality and design of my new Consulting Services Agreement that was developed by Malcolm recently, was even appreciated by some of my clients, who gave me the feedback that the agreement is very strong. I would highly recommend GZ Legal for any corporate legal requirements.”

Rajeev Nayak, Google Review

Proactively provided very useful recommendations

“Malcolm helped me with incorporation, issuance of new shares, an IP assignment agreement and a SaaS agreement for my startup. He proactively made a number of very useful recommendations, drafted the relevant documents quickly and gave me a full walkthrough of what he’d done. He also provided very helpful insight regarding AI and GDPR compliance. I highly recommend Gaffney Zoppi for any early-stage business looking for legal support!”

For decades, Farleys Solicitors has provided legal help to individuals and businesses. They’ve earned recognition as well, including being a top-tier firm by Legal 500.

We think it’s brilliant that they assist businesses of all sizes, making them an accessible law firm in Manchester. It’s also incredible how they work in all sectors, such as retail, agriculture, and professional services.

One more thing that deserves a spotlight is their comprehensive services. Their lawyers handle a lot of aspects of corporate law, such as share agreements and regulatory compliance.

But they’re a busy firm, as they have a lot of clients. Sometimes, they may not update as quickly as possible, which has happened previously, according to the clients we surveyed.

Nevertheless, they still provide updates regularly, although it might not be in a flash sometimes.

From what we’ve seen, their corporate lawyers will still be with you all the way. From start to finish, they’ve been accommodating and supportive, even if the case is small.

Pros

  • A Legal 500-recognised firm
  • Works with businesses of all sizes
  • Comprehensive services
  • Supportive lawyers

Cons

  • Instances of slight delays in updates
