One thing that can be said about Hidden Corner Fancy Dress is that customers won’t be lacking in choices, no matter their age. Their historical costumes alone cover a wide range of time periods, and they have a lot of themes available.

They also offer a large selection of accessories, many of which match the costumes’ themes, so customers can feel like they get a complete set. Plus, the costumes matched how they looked on the website—no false advertising here!

We love that the staff were always happy and ready to help! And since Hidden Corner has such a wide selection, we appreciated the staff’s eagerness to help customers find the right costume.

It was also nice to know that they can do same-day deliveries and more often than not, they were as timely as can be. But unfortunately, Hidden Corner runs a bit short when it comes to money concerns. 

When it comes to deliveries, customers have to pay the return fee from their own pocket, shipping included. We also found some of their costumes to be overpriced, even for the better quality ones.

When it comes to Boogie Knights, they’re able to help their customers in a pinch!

Not only do they have a wide array of costume themes to choose from, but the staff are a huge help. They’re quick to notice when customers need professional input and are more than happy to provide that. 

From our surveys, we found that when it came to last-minute orders, this store could do them on such short notice that it surprised customers! They even provided professional advice and helped narrow down customers’ choices from their themes.

We also liked how some costumes had rather specific themes in mind; it helps a lot if the customer has a very fixed vision for the vibe they want to give.

Though we were disappointed to learn that Boogie Knights doesn’t provide the right fit for people with bigger bodies—they only have three available sizes. Their costumes were also on the pricier end, so that’s another letdown.

Experienced in theatre design and working with different body types, Royal Exchange doesn’t just rent out their costumes, but they also do fittings for customers. So almost everything is tailor-made to fit their customers’ measurements. 

Just note that only those who hired them can rent their costumes, so customers are required to set an appointment beforehand. They’re also a purely rental service, which can be a hassle for customers who are looking to buy costumes of their own.

For added convenience, they can design and have a costume ready well in advance. They also work quickly enough that they can finish in an hour!

On top of that, their costumes are high-quality, and they’ve earned many glowing reviews because of this!

For costume seekers who are out on a budget but still want a good quality set that fits their body type, this little shop in Bolton might be your best bet! 

Fancy That has costumes in all different kinds of sizes, so bigger and smaller bodies can find something for them here. They also have costumes for all sorts of events and themes; they even have a whole host of costumes themed after Stag & Hen parties. 

But it’s not just the costumes themselves that are noteworthy—their prices are on the more affordable end, too! Additionally, those who order a costume that’s over £60 get free shipping on delivery.

It’s also worth mentioning that many customers we interviewed praised the friendly and helpful staff. They were even able to have costumes ready for customers in no time, so even hurried requests were no issue!

Though it’s a shame to see that Fancy That is only open three days a week, and on top of that, they’re quick to run out of stock, especially on Halloween! So there’s a need to order as early as possible if ever you decide to get a costume from them.

Celebration Party Shop got on our radar because of their bright and lively costumes and the wide range of accessories they have on hand. Browse through their selection and you’re bound to put together a getup that’ll look and feel complete!

Their costumes cover many different themes, and come in both adult and child sizes, so even kids can dress up as their favourite characters! We also had to commend them for having costumes ready in a jiffy. 

They can have costumes ready in a day or even under an hour! Plus, last-minute orders are no problem for them, too.

We also have to commend the staff for knowing how to guide customers to getting just what they needed in a costume. They were able to give tips and advice without coming off as far too pushy in helping customers decide, according to reviews. 

We just wished that they had a more detailed or organised listing when it came to their size options. Since they don’t have a clear list of size options available on their website, it was a hassle trying to find out what sizes they have in stock.

It was also a hassle finding and getting to their store, since it’s in a more out-of-the-way location, which is a shame since Celebration has a rather good selection.
