We must note that they don’t have a physical store, so cake tasting before ordering isn’t an option. Nonetheless, we’re confident about their products because of the rave reviews that they’ve garnered.

From our surveys, their portion sizes are pretty hefty, which is a big plus for us considering the price tag of £11.25 for their box of six cupcakes.

Furthermore, their offerings go beyond just cupcakes. Customers will be glad to know that they also offer personalised cakes, cookie cakes, brownies, and much more.

Vanilla Ice Cakes is one of the few luxurious choices here on our list. Located in Chorlton, it’s no wonder their cakes and offerings are as extravagant as their location.

We have to say, their specialisation in luxury wedding cakes and bespoke celebration cakes is what caught our attention to them.

After asking their regulars about their cupcake offerings, we were pleased by their positive claims. According to them, it’s practically a love letter to your taste buds.

The cake base? Moist and flavorful. The frosting? Creamy, decadent, and the stuff of frosting fantasies.

In addition, we also love that they offer a wide range of products aside from just cakes and cupcakes.

Another thing that we love about them is their affordability. At £2.95 per cupcake and £14.99 for a box of six, we think this makes them one of the best choices for budget-conscious customers.

The glaring issue we must mention is that not all of their products offer the same quality as their cakes and cupcakes.

From the customers that we’ve talked to, their milk cake and brownies aren’t as good as their cakes.

Furthermore, there were some negative comments regarding their service levels, which we think can pose a deal-breaker for some.

Hey Little Cupcake! used to be just a pop-up shop in Spinningfields in August 2010 and has since become a permanent fixture in the area.

That said, it might be difficult to find a parking space near the premises, but for us, this isn’t much of a deal breaker since it’s only a couple of minutes away from the trams.

Now, let’s talk dough—both edible and spendable. Each cupcake costs around £3 – £5 each, so this makes Hey Little Cupcake! a bit steeper compared to others.

Despite this, given the amazing reviews and many satisfied customers, we think the prices are worth the investment in pure cupcake joy.
