If you’re a sports fan, visiting Old Trafford Stadium is a must. After all, it’s the renowned home of Manchester United Football Club.

If you’re a bookworm like me, John Rylands Library (John Rylands Library The Complete Guide) is a fantastic choice to visit! Inside, you’ll find yourself looking at towering bookshelves filled with the long catalogue of historical books and encyclopaedias about Manchester itself. 

Here, the interior is equally as impressive, featuring soaring ceilings, ornate stained glass windows, and meticulously crafted bookshelves that seem to stretch endlessly. 

The grand reading room, with its vaulted ceilings and rows upon rows of ancient tomes, creates a serene and contemplative atmosphere, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the world of literature and knowledge.

I make it sound like you’re stepping into a whole new world, and that’s because it truly is! Just expect the old ‘grandpa’ smell because the books are quite dusted due to being kept there for so long!

Now, I’m never one who loves to stay in class and sit all day listening to lectures, but there’s something about the University of Manchester that really helps me appreciate education more! 

I know it sounds funny, but bear with me! The architecture is amazing, its student body is friendly and diverse; and out of all the amazing things about the school, I love their ingrained Mancunian culture.

Finally, Chinatown Manchester is the final, and in my opinion, the true testament as to why Manchester is a must-visit place for both locals and tourists!

The soul of Manchester Chinatown resides in its extraordinary fusion of East and West. It isn’t simply a replication of a far-off land but a vibrant tapestry that weaves together diverse influences. 

Beyond its architectural marvels, Manchester Chinatown boasts a thriving arts and entertainment scene that is refreshingly original. The district plays host to a myriad of avant-garde galleries, where cutting-edge contemporary Chinese artists and local talents converge. 

What I can tell you for sure is that the food is exquisitely good! That’s right, I’d recommend scurrying around the corners of Chinatown and taste what the amazing restaurants have to offer in terms of Chinese cuisines!
