At NQ64, students and game aficionados converge to revel in a unique blend of cocktails, craft beer, and a blast from the past. We were drawn to the establishment’s intriguing fusion of modern bar culture and retro gaming vibes.

Furthermore, we were captivated by their extensive range of arcade games, offering a delightful nostalgic journey for both seasoned gamers and the younger crowd. 

They have classics like Pinball and Mortal Kombat — providing a glimpse into how previous generations found joy in gaming.

Unfortunately, aside from arcade games, they don’t have any other attractions here.

Their strategic location within the city centre earned them significant points in terms of accessibility. Since it’s near other bars, we think it’s an ideal choice for those who love to explore multiple nightlife spots in one night.

Moreover, we also appreciate their long operating hours – extending from noon to the early hours. For us, this caters perfectly to the night owls seeking to party to their heart’s content.

Affordability is a defining feature of this bar, making it a crowd-favourite, especially among young guests with limited budgets. 

Another thing we like about NQ64 is their customer service. According to regulars,  they commend the exceptional attitude of its staff, particularly their welcoming and enthusiastic server. 

Roxy Ball Room has earned its stripes as a well-loved establishment. In fact, we were delighted to learn that they have a series of branches across the UK — including two vibrant spots right here in Manchester!

For this review, we zeroed in on their Deansgate branch, which enjoys a prime location. We like that it’s conveniently situated, making it easily accessible for both locals and visitors seeking a lively night out.

However, we were pretty disappointed with their operating hours, given their late afternoon openings and comparatively early closures.

On a more positive note, we appreciate the affordability of their rates. With drink prices starting at a reasonable £6.50, we think it’s a commendable choice for those seeking entertainment without breaking the bank.

Overall, Roxy Ball Room truly shines in terms of variety. From their family outings to friendly hangouts and team-building sessions, we love how they offer a plethora of activities to choose from.

Bowling, batting, pool, beer pong, shuffleboard, dart, ping pong, and even karaoke – their extensive range ensures there’s never a dull moment. We believe this diverse selection earns them some well-deserved plus points.

Drawing from our experience, the staff members here stand out for their welcoming and attentive approach. Ensuring guest safety and enjoyment seems to be their top priority — something that we truly appreciated.

We think that Fight Club is a great place for intimate events and celebrations thanks to its semi-private spaces. 

They also stand out with their 14 distinct play areas. Each offers an array of dart games like Demolition, Shanghai, Killer, Quack Shot, and even a dart-infused version of Snakes & Ladders — which was pretty exciting for us.

Situated within the heart of the city centre, this place earns major points for its strategic location. We definitely like how its proximity to other bars make it a prime spot for bar hopping!

However, we have a small issue with their schedule. While their early opening hours are a convenience, the early closing times might not resonate with night owls seeking extended entertainment.

Sad to say, with drinks starting at £8.50, it falls on the pricier side of the spectrum. While this might deter some budget-conscious patrons, we think the promise of a unique experience might justify the cost for others.

Lastly, the staff members here deserve a commendation for their efficiency in food service and willingness to guide guests through the rules of various games. 

For us, this approach adds to the overall experience, creating an inviting atmosphere for newcomers and seasoned patrons alike.

At Twenty Twenty Two, guests are invited to experience a lively and laid-back atmosphere. We believe it’s one of the best spots in Manchester for sipping cocktails and unwinding. 

While their mix of ping pong and beer pong adds a playful dimension to the experience, we think it’s important to note that their activity offerings are relatively fewer compared to some of their competitors. 

In its location at Little Lever Street, right at the city centre’s core, we think their location allows easy bar hopping for those who want to explore multiple nightlife spots. 

Although the bar opens late, we believe the compensatory factor lies in their extended closing hours — catering to night owls seeking a longer night out.

When it comes to their rates, we’re pleased to share that they offer reasonable prices. In fact, most of their clients are students due to its budget-friendly offerings.

We were just a bit iffy when we encountered conflicting reports about their customer service. While we received positive feedback regarding the politeness and accommodation of staff members, reports of interactions with seemingly rude bouncers surfaced as well.

But it’s worth noting that differing perspectives exist, with some patrons understanding the bouncers’ stringent enforcement of policies. With all of this in mind, we still highly recommend Twenty Twenty Two for an affordable night out in Manchester!

7Sins is a distinctive hangout where burgers and cocktails take centre stage. But what made them noteworthy for us is their street-chic setup — great for those who are looking for a modern-looking hangout spot.

From what we’ve seen, the range of activities here caters to diverse tastes, ensuring that every patron finds an avenue for enjoyment. 

From its shuffleboard and pool to table games and live DJ sets, we like that there’s an assortment of entertainment options, contributing to a well-rounded experience.

While the bar has a central location on Lever Street, we believe it’s worth mentioning that it might be a bit farther from other bustling bars. This could deter those looking for easy bar-hopping adventures.
