Pros
- Wide menu selection
- Accessible location
- Opens early
- Has delivery services
- Accommodating staff members
Cons
- Expensive food and drinks
Juniper Bramhall caught our eye with their extensive menu options. We like that they cater to all cravings by offering all-day breakfast, brunch, lunch, and beyond.
When we stepped in, we were spoilt for choice and opted for their Traditional Full English, Classic Beef Burger, along with their Strawberry, Avocado, and Spinach Salad. It’s safe to say that each dish was a delight to the taste buds.
Furthermore, we give them props for their dedicated youngsters’ section and plenty of gluten-free and vegan choices available.
We also believe that quenching your thirst won’t be a challenge here, as they cover all the beverage basics and more. From your morning caffeine fix to refreshing juices and creative mocktails, they’ve got customers covered.
However, do bear in mind that they lean towards the pricier side, with an average bill of around £20. But trust us, the quality of the experience more than justifies the cost.
Convenience is key, and they tick that box too. We like that they are situated at the centre of Bramhall — making them easy to find. Their opening hours which start at 7:30 am also make them a haven for early risers craving a delicious start to the day.
While they do offer delivery services, we’d recommend popping in for the full experience. The attentive and friendly staff add an extra layer of warmth to an already inviting atmosphere, making your visit truly memorable.

Pros
- Accessible location
- Early opening time
- Knowledgeable staff members
- Inclusive menu
Cons
- Expensive menu
We like Funky Monkey for their convenient location at a mere 5-minute stroll away from the nearest public transportation stop. This made it easy for us to find their establishment during our visit.
We also give them plus points for their early opening time at 8:30 am — making them a great spot to cater for customers who are heading to work or school.
While they may lean towards the pricier end of the spectrum, with an average bill totalling around 20 pounds, we believe that they’re worth the extra splurge. This is thanks to their cosy ambience and friendly staff that made our stay a delight.
Speaking of their staff, we appreciate their knowledgeable crew. They did not only took our order but they also guided us through their menu with enthusiasm.
Now let’s talk about the real star of the show—the food. They didn’t disappoint in this department with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
We recommend trying their sundried tomato, mozzarella, and pesto panini along with their meze board that comes with hummus, pitta bread, vegetables, couscous, and red pepper orzo.
When it comes to beverages, we appreciate that they offered us a range that suits all preferences. Whether you’re a coffee connoisseur, a tea enthusiast, or prefer a refreshing juice — they’ve got just the thing.

Pros
- Provision for high chairs
- Wide selection of food and drinks
- Fast serving time
- Convenient location
Cons
- Opens late
Laco Café & Bistro is perfect for families seeking a welcoming atmosphere. What sets them apart for us is their provision of high chairs in their establishment.
Our visit here left us thoroughly impressed, especially with their breakfast options. The renowned Laco Mushrooms on Toast lived up to its reputation, leaving us with satisfied taste buds and contented stomachs.
And let’s not forget about their well-loved cakes. We couldn’t resist indulging in a slice of their carrot cake — it certainly didn’t disappoint with each bite filled with sweetness and spice.
They cover all the basics in terms of beverages, from coffee to juices. However, it’s their milkshakes that caught our attention since not many cafes in the area offer this.
Furthermore, an average visit here costs around £15 which offers good value for money. While there may be more affordable options nearby, the quality of the experience here is well worth it.
On the other hand, we appreciate that the service here is prompt and the staff members are attentive which added to its charm.
They are also conveniently located just a few minutes from the public transport stop at Stockport making them easy to find.
However, we think that it’s worth noting that they open slightly later than some other cafes in the area, so eating breakfast here may not be a good idea. Since they open at 9:00 am, they are more suitable for those who want to have brunch instead.

Pros
- Accessible location
- Opens early
- Helpful staff members
- Affordable menu
Cons
- Some complains about the quality of their drinks
Othello’s Cafe Bar is located conveniently two minutes away from the Merseyway Precinct. We also like that they have ample parking spots nearby.
What’s more, we appreciate that they’re open early every day — catering to those seeking a quick breakfast fix before the morning hustle.
When we stepped inside, we were greeted by a beautifully designed interior.
Additionally, their staff members are as warm and accommodating as their surroundings. They helped provide food and drink pairing recommendations and they were quick to address any of our requests during our stay.
We also give them a big thumbs up for their inclusivity. Here, there are wheelchair accessible seating as well as high chairs for those who have special needs.
When it comes to the menu, they also didn’t disappoint us. We opted for their Full English Breakfast which left us feeling thoroughly satisfied.
As for beverages, we commend that they’ve got the classics covered—coffee, tea, and juices to start your day right.
Sadly, we noted some issues from our surveys. In particular, some patrons have raised concerns about the milkshakes being warm and bland, which is a disappointment if you ask us.
Despite this, we still highly recommend this place – especially when you consider their affordability with an average bill hovering around just £10. We just hope that they can improve being more consistent in producing good-quality drinks.

Pros
- Halal options
- Wide menu selection
- Accommodating staff members
- Accessible location
- Affordable menu
Cons
- Closes early
The Beehive Cafe caught our attention with their inclusion of halal options which sets them apart from other bars in the area.
On top of this, we like that their menu boasts a wide array of dishes: from quick snacks to hearty meals. We took the staff’s advice and indulged in their Desi street breakfast and Mediterranean salad, and we were blown away by the burst of flavours in every bite.
When it comes to quenching your thirst, they don’t disappoint with their classic offerings such as coffee, tea, and juices. However, it’s their unique smoothie concoctions like the Berry Go-Round and Tropical Twists that stole the show.
Furthermore, we were also happy with the service we received. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the staff remained efficient and accommodating.
They are also conveniently located just two minutes away from the Manchester Road stop which makes locating them easy. However, do note that they close earlier than some of their competitors in the area—a minor inconvenience for those craving a late caffeine fix.
Despite this, we believe that they are still well worth of your visit. Especially when you consider their wallet-friendly prices with an average bill coming in at just £10.
