Talking to their customers told us that a lot of people were happy with the contractor’s work and recommendations. We couldn’t find anything to complain about in our own test service call.

The company offers the primary services a carpet cleaning company should. Still, compared to the other businesses in this list, they provide fewer services, which you should consider.

We could not get through to them via that method. Instead, we received an automated response… and a slow personal response.

When we polled their customers, just about all of them praised the company’s professionalism and skills. 

They also commended the fact that nearly all cleaning needs can be covered by one company, including tiles and wood. That’s an obvious plus: it’s a point of convenience.

So, we decided to try them ourselves. We began by asking their company and asked for a quote. 

To our surprise, they replied to us in less than 10 minutes to give us an estimate. They gave a surprisingly lower price compared to other companies. 

Looking at the carpet cleaning they performed for us, we also saw why so many of their customers were so pleased with them. They do their work very thoroughly.

In fact, we could barely find anything to complain about. If we had to nitpick, though, it would be that some of their online assets aren’t exactly up to date.

Although the company only listed Manchester on Google, their website showed that they also serve Liverpool, Warrington, and Preston. This, for us, should be written in Google, too; this could discourage customers who want work done in their areas. 

This company’s pretty young, dating back to just 2015, but they’ve certainly been busy over the past few years. They’ve actually served over 2,000 customers already in the Greater Manchester area.

After looking into this company, we chose it due to its excellent performance and services. 

We found that the company has given their customers great prices for their services. Even though they provide the least set of services on this list. 

This company may have limited services offered, but they do have carpet cleaning services that we need. Some who want an overall cleaning service would find this frustrating. 

While scrolling through their website, by the way, we got confused with their website interface. The colors and fonts didn’t work well to comprehend what was written. 

Even with this issue, you can still call the numbers and be answered swiftly by their representative. So that’s one point for them.

Another flaw of this company is that they don’t do estimations, incidentally. You need to set up a personal appointment to get a quotation. 

Despite these, we found their contractor was very friendly, he offered to answer any questions we had. The contractor told us they also provide last-minute carpet cleaning services, which is a plus for when you have an event and need something done asap. 

If you want a company that can immediately quote you when you call or chat, this company isn’t for you. Otherwise, it’s a company that provides solid service once it actually starts on a job. 

First off, the company has a long list of services listed on its website, and the variety is perfect for those who want a lot of cleaning done. Their carpet cleaning is impressive, as shown by the before and after pics; so we wanted to try their services for ourselves. 

We like that their prices are listed on their website, giving customers an idea of how much they should allocate for the specific service. 

We found the prices very reasonable and affordable: £40 for 1 Room, £70 for 2 Rooms, £90 for 3 Rooms, and all additional rooms are charged £20 each.

We chatted with them and were disappointed when it took them days to reply. Although, when we called them, they were prompt enough in answering and entertaining us. 

We think customers should be able to have both options of chatting and calling them to avail of their services. Still, 1 out of 2 isn’t too bad.

We tested their services and were impressed with how good a job they did, but to be frank, they were a bit slow. Being slow is forgivable when you see good results, but not when you need your place to be spik and span immediately. 

We think that this company has the potential to do well – just don’t expect chat promptness and super-fast cleaning services. You might get disappointed. 

Express City Cleaning is a cleaning service company with over 3000 reviews online. That already gives you an idea of how many jobs they do.

So naturally, this company piqued our interest. They were among the names most often mentioned when we asked for recommendations in our survey. 

We are amazed by how big the company is: they have served large business establishments in Manchester and nearby areas, adding that to their credentials. 

They actually do commercial work too. Their industrial power equipment that can address tougher stains than most is another plus for this company.

Their prices per room are all fixed (for Domestic Services only). However, these prices are higher than any of the companies on this list.

The prices must be due to their company size, fame, and experience. That can be forgiven, but rendering inadequate customer services can’t be ignored. 

To explain: we tried reaching out to the company. They offered us automated messages, whcih is understandable because it is a bigger company. 

But when we then tried their services, their crew seemed standoffish. While they were cleaning our carpets, we asked them some carpet-related questions, and nobody bothered to answer. 

You can’t serve customers with that kind of attitude. That was against thousands of praising comments, so we wondered if maybe that was just a bad day for the contractors. 

Who knows? They did the cleaning work well, though, we have to admit.
