We tried contacting them in every possible way and got answered in all forms of communication. However, when we asked for an online estimate, they declined our request and offered free personal consultations… which is probably understandable. 

The contractors came with a positive attitude and were very welcoming as they entertained us. They asked us questions and answered ours readily as they involved us in the bathroom fitting process. 

Clients that we polled about their services were all impressed with this company’s performance. They all praised the company’s excellent client communication.

The most significant setback that we could find for this company was the lack of areas served in Manchester, which is the primary purpose of this list. They only served 6 out of 10 boroughs.

We love 5-star reviews for a company online but we don’t rely on them just to dissect the company. We poll their recent clients, inquire about their services, and try them ourselves. 

IK Master Build Ltd passed nearly all our tests with flying colors. Based on our test project with them, they offer excellent bathroom craft, great prices, and exceptional customer involvement. 

However, they did reply late to our messages, and it took them anywhere from 8 hours to 3 days to get back to us on several occasions. That said, this issue didn’t seem to stop the company from giving its absolute best to our project. 

We also instantly noticed the contractor’s talent and skills as he started our project. We could see why his name was all over the clients’ reviews when we interviewed them, as he’s very hands-on. 

In our experience, he updated us on their progress and involved us in making key decisions on the project. This displays their sincerity and concern for their consumers, so we’re pleased by it.

Another plus we noticed was their pricing for services offered. We think they’re pretty reasonable and transparent with how they charge, especially considering the degree of personalized attention and quality we got.

A three-person-run company, BNQ Bathrooms primarily focuses on bathroom-related services and products. They mainly serve people in the northwest region.

Managing clients can be challenging for three people, we think, so we went in with some wariness. However, they surpassed expectations in our dealings with them. 

The crew was generally punctual and professional when we inquired about their services. Although a bit slow in responding to chats (it took about three hours for a response), the company was able to answer all of our questions in detail. 

We liked their fixed prices and transparency in billing their clients. The value for our money could be seen in their final results, where they perfectly executed our plans and designs within five days.

The clients we surveyed said that they were all drawn to this set pricing, actually, since the company guarantees there will be no additional costs. That’s always a plus when dealing with a contractor, frankly. 

Because the inflow of clients and phone calls may be overwhelming for such a popular company, though, they can only react by appointment. This is most likely why clients must wait for 3 to 8 weeks from when they reserve an appointment to their actual visit.

Handyman Manchester may just be your first stop for all the odd chores, household repairs, and general maintenance you’ve been meaning to get done for years. They provide a lot of services in this field and seem to do it pretty professionally, to boot.

They are focused more on handypersons tasks, admittedly, but still do a great job with bathroom fittings. We contacted this company to try their services and check that. 

Although they were responsive, we couldn’t help but note at the start that they do have an incomprehensible website interface. 

Their fonts are challenging to read, and we kind of wish they would be able to update this. It matters when new clients are sussing you out, as it were.

We surveyed recent clients of this company too and found clients praising the company’s reliability, as some have been using this company for years.

Incidentally, this is a small local company that runs 24 hours, seven days a week. They even have emergency services. 

Emergency services are tremendous for convenience, but of course, bathroom fitting doesn’t need this service. A deliberate plan is what’s needed in these projects – and it’s what this company provided for us, along with quick execution of those plans.

We do have a little complaint, though: during the entire process of the bathroom fitting, the handyman only answered our questions a few times before he decided to ignore us halfway. 

We understand that sometimes handymen needed silence to work, but it would’ve been nice to be involved with the process. 

Melon Construction & Renovations has made quite a name for itself as a commercial plumber and property renovator in Manchester. They have the friendliest set of well-versed crews in everything, from installations and renovations.

All of the company’s recent clients complimented the crew’s friendliness in interviews. They also said the company’s staff made them feel welcome to be involved in the project. 

After trying the company out, we shared the same sentiments. 

We learned the company takes long time to respond at times, though… and sometimes just doesn’t reply to messages and calls. It was frustrating how many times they ignored us, so we wish the company could realize this and improve.

Although the finished project was satisfactory to us, some clients reported that some of them had fittings that were broken after a few weeks after installation. 

But that was just from 3 accounts against 80+ more who were satisfied with their services, so it’s definitely a minority. 

Unfortunately, we figured out this company costs more compared to most others on this list. We’re not crazy about that, but we do note that some clients would pay the extra charges for their great tradesmanship.
