Pros

  • Has affordable food
  • Has bigger portions compared to other restaurants
  • Has a good atmosphere and polite staff members

Cons

  • Has instances of slow serving time
  • Has instances where customers received cold food

When it comes to fried chicken, we think that it would be hard to top the popularity of Yard & Coop. We believe that this is because of their impressive combination of delicious recipes and affordability.

Since a usual meal here would cost only between £10 to £20 per person, we do not doubt that they are going to be a great option for customers who are looking for a cost-effective place to dine with their family or friends.

On top of this, we also gathered from the regular customers that their serving portion is bigger compared to other restaurants in the area — making them suitable for customers who are looking for a heavy meal.

We also like that they have a welcoming atmosphere that features cosy interiors and playful music. Additionally, they also have attentive staff members who are ready to cater to customers with a pleasant attitude.

However, we have received reports of instances where the food took a while to be prepared. According to one customer, they waited for about an hour the receive their meal.

Another downside is that some customers also experienced receiving cold food.

On the other hand, the staff members are usually quick to address these issues if you raise your concern — which is something we appreciate.

Pros

  • One of the most affordable restaurants in Spinningfields
  • Has commendable interior
  • Has a wide range of menu items

Cons

  • Has a 12.5% tipping policy
  • Has instances where customers were served cold food

While it can be more expensive at Bill’s Spinningfields Restaurant compared to other family restaurants in Manchester, we think that they are still worth the try since they are one of the most affordable food establishments in Spinningfields.

Furthermore, the restaurant also offers a luxe atmosphere along with a posh interior that gives your dining experience an elevated appeal.

On top of that, they also have a beautiful outdoor set-up where customers can enjoy their meals alfresco style.

When it comes to their food, we heard a lot of positive feedback: from the presentation to the taste of their dishes.

Here customers can enjoy a wide selection of comfort food such as burgers, pancakes, steaks, and many others — which means that there is something for every member of the family to eat here.

However, there are some things that we were concerned about.

For instance, they have a 12.5% tipping policy. One of the customers that we have spoken to mentioned that this spoiled their experience.

Sadly, there were also instances where customers received cold food. For this instance, we commend their team for quickly taking action as soon as the customer points it out.

Just keep in mind that despite these instances, the majority of the customers we surveyed claimed that they had a great time there.

Pros

  • Serves dishes with high-quality ingredients
  • Has a wide selection of dishes for people with food limitations
  • Does not require advance booking to dine in

Cons

  • Has instances where there is a long queue before being seated
  • Has instances of slow food serving

For those who are particular about the ingredients of the dishes that they will eat, we suggest that you try Vapiano. They are famous for their made-to-order pasta, pizza, and salad — which are all derived from high-quality components.

Another good thing about them is that they pay attention to customer special requests. For instance, if you have a specific taste that you want to achieve, you can provide detailed instructions to your server and they will execute it to the best of their capacity.

Furthermore, we like that they have a selection for people who have food limitations because they have vegan, vegetarian, and halal dishes on their menu. They can also cater for customers who have allergies.

We also give them plus points for accessibility because there is no need to book an appointment ahead of time if you want a dine-in here. They are open every day and anyone can walk in — which is something that we appreciate.

Just keep in mind that there will be instances where there is a queue outside the store. Some customers shared that they waited for about half an hour before they were seated.

In line with this, we have also gathered reports where customers waited as long to receive their meals.

With all of these in mind, we think that they are a great choice for customers who are willing to wait for a high-quality meal. Otherwise, it is best to explore other family restaurants in the area.

Pros

  • Offers quick and affordable dining experience
  • Has a separate menu for customers with food restrictions
  • Has reliable delivery and collection services

Cons

  • Has inconsistent customer service
  • First limited options when it comes to vegan dishes

Frankie & Benny’s is a go-to place for big groups of diners who want to have an affordable and quick dining experience. According to regular customers, they appreciate that the staff members here are accommodating and quick to respond to requests.

With this in mind, we believe that they are going to be ideal for diners who would need a lot of support while eating — making them even more ideal for families or groups of friends who intend to bring children during their visit.

Just take that with a grain of salt since we have gathered reports where the customer service here is inconsistent. However, most of the customers that we have spoken to were happy with the treatment that they received.

Another good thing about them is that they have a wide selection of dishes. Here you can choose among very delicious meals such as pasta dishes, ribs, burgers, and many more.

However, what truly sets them apart is that they have a separate menu for gluten-free and vegan dishes. This makes it easy for people with food restrictions to find meals that are suitable for them — so we give them plus points for that.

We just wish that they offer more vegan dishes as there are customers who complain that their options were limited.

Additionally, we like that they have a dependable delivery and collection service. We learned that customers can easily place their orders online or through phone calls — both of which are responsive and reliable.

Pros

  • Has many branches across the world
  • Has an accessible location
  • Has delicious crowd favourites

Cons

  • Has consistency issues in the quality of their chicken dishes
  • Has issues completeness of orders through delivery services

Hard Rock Cafe is a well-loved family restaurant with branches across the entire world. Luckily there is one located at the heart of Manchester.

One of the biggest advantages of eating here is that it is only a two-minute walk away from the famous national football museum — making it an accessible location for residents and tourists to dine in after tours.

On top of this, we also like that they are open every day with extended hours until 11:00 PM during peak evenings such as Friday and Saturday nights.

With this in mind, we believe that they are going to be a great option for families and friends who want to dine late at night.

When it comes to their food, one can never go wrong with their popular dishes such as nachos, flatbread, all-American sliders, and many other crowd favourites.

Another thing that sets them apart is their steakburgers which start from £‎17.45. This is comprised of a generous portion of juicy patties with various toppings and buns — an absolute must-try if you dine here.

Just keep in mind that we have received multiple complaints about their chicken dishes such as chicken strips and chicken breasts. Some customers received burnt food from the kitchen.

Another downside is that there are instances where their delivery service fails to deliver the proper side dishes for the customers’ orders. For those who want to avoid this, it would be best to double-check with the rider before they head to your place or dine in instead.
