What we like most about their flood restoration services is that their fleet of extraction units can run independently of electricity or water supply. So, even if your property has no utilities, work can still start as scheduled. 

We also love how you can rely on them for both flood cleanup and full property restoration. For instance, they offer carpentry, tiling, plumbing, plastering, electrical, floating, and even kitchen or bathroom restorations, saving you time, hassle, and money!

Their fine art restoration service is another plus, as it’s not a service you can get from most places.

Just note that they don’t have their rates posted online, so you’ll need to inquire first. Luckily, they’re responsive and can easily dispatch a team on short notice.

Speaking of contents restoration, we have to give them credit for ticking multiple boxes. They handle upholstery, carpets, drywall, and flooring damage, which means you won’t have to stress about looking for more contractors after you get your assessment. 

It’s also reassuring to know that flooded areas are disinfected, deodorised, and cleared of waste. The last thing you’d want on top of the flooding is getting sick from the lingering contamination and odour.

That said, their 24/7 emergency support can come in clutch, especially if the flooding directly affects your health and safety.

You can also go for a DIY route since they offer equipment hire, like dehumidifiers and air movers. But keep in mind that they’re rates aren’t posted on their website, so you’ll have to call first.

First off, we’re impressed that the technicians at ICE Cleaning hold major credentials like IOSH, Safe Contractor, Dewpoint Professional, and BICs. 

Their credentials aren’t for show; they reflect how their team adheres to trusted safety protocols and works within industry standards. This applies to their flood restoration services like water extraction, sanitising, drying, air-cleaning and decontamination. 

We also noted how they tailor the solution to specific requirements, since flooding from a busted pipe, river flood, or sewage backup can mean different issues and require different techniques.

The catch? Their cost breakdown can be a bit wonky. Homeowners we spoke with shared that they would be shocked to see that their final bill is higher than the previous quote, so try to insist on detailed terms and costing. 

Well, in case something does happen, it’s nice to know that they take rapid emergency response seriously—arriving on site within 60 minutes in many cases. Speed is critical in flood situations; it prevents additional damage and expense in the long run.

Just to get it out of the way, we have to say that DH Complete Cleaning has impressive cleaning capabilities, and it goes hand-in-hand with flood restoration. After a flood, you often need more than just drying, so having a team to handle your structural clean-ups, floor work, etc, is a win. 

On that note, we like that they use advanced drying methods and dehumidifiers to manage moisture effectively. It saves you from spending more on possible mould growth, and it maintains structural integrity. 

They’re not the biggest help if you need urgent structural repair or reinstatement, though. They don’t have the in-house team to get to work ASAP if something is raised, but you can rely on them for trusted tradespeople referrals. 

Nonetheless, we have to give them props for providing reliable flood restoration services. Plus, the detailed damage assessment and restoration advice they give plays a crucial role for homeowners and insurance claims.

Professional Remedial Services or PRS are members of the Property Care Association Flood Remediation Group, which basically means they have access to surveyors, contractors, and techniques specific to buildings damaged by water ingress. 

Bonus points: their surveyors hold qualifications like CSSW (Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing) and CSRT (Certificated Surveyor in Remedial Treatment).

They have a deep understanding of flood-specific restorations rather than just general restorations. So, it’s great that they also offer structural repair, waterproofing, basement conversion, damp control, and more. 

It’s worth noting they provide both restoration and innovative refurbishment techniques, which can sometimes allow re-occupation before the building is fully dry. This is crucial if you need to return sooner while maintaining safety.

However, it’s a bit of a bummer that rapid emergency response isn’t their forte. But hey, we love that their repairs also give you long-term resilience to the same issues or possible floods.
