Pros

  • Good for beginners
  • Offers package rates
  • Offers high quality lessons

Cons

  • Does not offer online classes

One of the best things about Yoga Soul is that they make their students feel comfortable. Starting a new workout like yoga can be intimidating, especially for beginners.

This is why we appreciate that the team members here make sure that everyone is at ease during sessions. As shared by one customer, despite the high quality of teaching here, the staff members and other students are not snobbish.

When we reviewed their pricing, we were also happy to learn that they offer promotions for new students. For instance, there is a 21-day package for only  £30 — which is a really affordable rate.

However, after that, the rate goes up to £13 per session. However, we were happy to learn that they still offer packages like £55 for 5 classes and £75 for unlimited sessions in one month.

For those who are truly committed to doing yoga regularly, we recommend going for their unlimited sessions package at £850 which is good for one year.

Overall, this is a great option for those who want to try yoga and for those who want to commit to it as well.

The only downside is that their classes are only conducted in their studio. For those who prefer to do online yoga sessions, it may be better to consider other providers in the area.

Pros

  • Offers many classes
  • Offers affordable packages for beginners
  • Has competitive instructors

Cons

  • Has small studios

We like The Life Centre because they hold a lot of classes regularly. With this, there are more slots a customer can choose from.

This is why we recommend them to students who have busy schedules. Since they hold around 30 sessions per week, we are sure that you will find something that would work with your lifestyle.

We also appreciate that they make it easy for beginners to try yoga. For instance, they offer a promotion where one can enjoy their first yoga class for only £1.

Additionally, there is also an option to go for unlimited sessions for 21 days at only £35. With these rates, we think that they are a great option for those who want to test the waters with yoga.

When we reviewed their teachers, we were happy to learn that they have competitive team members on onboard. Most of the instructors have completed hours of training in Yogahaven and Goa.

Their website also contains a short bio for each one of them which can be used as a reference for those who are interested in learning more about the team. With this, we believe that students can be at ease and that they are in good hands.

The only downside is that some customers complained about their small studios. According to them, it can sometimes feel cramped and crowded.

Pros

  • Has many loyal students
  • Has competitive instructors
  • Has convenient location

Cons

  • Booking in advance is required

Ashtanga Yoga Manchester has many loyal students who have been with them for years. When we spoke to these regulars, they were happy to share that they stayed here because of the instructors.

We learned that they have team members who have been practising for over a decade. But what really made them special is that they personalise their approach to the needs of each student.

Another thing that keeps us positive about them is their location.  Since they are at Central Hall at Oldham Street, you will be four minutes away by foot from the bus stop at the Piccadilly Gardens.

If you ask us, that walking time is a practical warm-up before your yoga session.

We also reviewed their prices and they charge £60 for six yoga sessions — which is a reasonable rate.  On top of this, one can also enjoy three hours of mysore, chanting,  and pranayama sessions for £25.

They also have a timetable readily available on their website. This makes it easy for students to plan their sessions ahead of time.

Speaking of being ahead of time, all of their sessions need to be booked in advance. Unfortunately, unlike other yoga instructors, they do not accept drop-ins.

Pros

  • Has partnerships with charitable institutions
  • Has commendable studio
  • Offers straightforward yoga lessons

Cons

  • Packages have time limits

The Yoga Republic is special because they have ongoing partnerships with charitable institutions like Christie Charitable Fund. Here, they help cancer patients by funding and participating in projects that would benefit these people.

For those who want to pursue yoga while creating a good impact on others’ lives, then this may be a good option to try.

Another positive thing to note about them is that they have studios with natural lighting. According to their regulars, this helps improve their yoga sessions as you will enjoy just enough sunlight as you do your poses.

We also appreciate that they do not have chanting, incense, or other similar things in their sessions. The team claims that they want to offer yoga to people who do not want to subscribe to the culture that is attached to it.

With this, we recommend this place for people who are only interested in the health benefits of doing yoga.

When we reviewed their rates, we were happy to see that they offer reasonable rates. For instance,  they have a package of four sessions at £24 for those who want to go to yoga classes during lunchtime.

On top of this, they also have a £60 package that includes 12 yoga classes. However, keep in mind that these offers are only good for six weeks, if you cannot consume it by then, the package will expire.

Pros

  • Offers effective online classes
  • Has commendable studios
  • Has an accessible establishment

Cons

  • Has limited yoga mats on their studio

Rooms may be for you.  Here, we appreciate that they conduct live online lessons.

This is a great option for students who want to pursue yoga, but do not have the time to leave their homes regularly. The only requirement is a yoga mat, an internet connection, and a gadget that can handle video calling.

Once a student has signed up for an online course, they will be provided with a Zoom invitation, where the class will take place. We give them bonus points for sending an email reminder to students an hour before the session.

On top of this, their rescheduling policy is also flexible. Clients are allowed to change classes up to 12 hours before their initial schedule.

As for those who prefer to come to the studio, you will be pleased with their facilities. We were happy to learn that they have spacious and well-ventilated space here.

Not to mention that their establishment is also easily accessible at Barlow Moor Road in Chorlton. However, since there are limited mats available, it would be best to bring your own instead.

For those who are on the hunt for yoga instructors who can offer effective online lessons, The Yoga

Pros

  • Specialises in Kundalini Yoga
  • Certified instructor
  • Different options for classes

Cons

High on Yoga was founded by Daria. She specialises in Kundalini Yoga and loves to sharing the teachings of Yogi Bhajan both in the UK and abroad.

She believes in Kundalini Yoga’s ability to liberate, elevate, make others stronger, more courageous and alive.

This is why she has her certifications, which include Kundalini Yoga Teacher Level 1 – KRI Certification 2011 and Kundalini Yoga Teacher Level 2 – KRI Certification 2015.

She’s also a Yoga Therapist in training since 2019 to present.

We like that she has a variety of classes like private classes or public classes, as well as workshops.

Her yoga classes are also useful for relief for certain conditions like anxiety, back pain, stress, but for self-love prosperity and the like as well.

We think that her teaching style is something that people will appreciate because she’s very calm and friendly. It’s evident that she cares about her students and that’s something we appreciate.

We’re also amazed at the depth of her knowledge when it comes to Kundalini Yoga.

She also has an online membership that we think is also good value for money. The courses have different themes that you can choose from depending on what you feel like doing that day.

We think you’ll truly see a difference with her classes and programs!

Pros

  • Effective and beginner-friendly classes
  • Offers a wide array of yoga class courses
  • Accommodating and experienced team

Cons

  • Limited class variations

Studio38 is a company that provides its clients with comprehensive and restorative yoga movement classes ideal for all individuals such as pregnancy yoga, baby yoga, and massage yoga among others.

Offering over 20 classes a week, we like that not only do they provide traditional yoga practices but also those that touch on modern practices such as vinyasa to ensure that clients have a wide variety of style options to choose from.

Aside from this, we like that all of their courses and classes are led by certified and experienced teachers who are more than willing to share their expertise, tips, and passion when it comes to yoga practice with their students.

Note though that there are slightly limited yoga packages available and packaged on their website to which further inquiry may be needed

Overall, with their friendly and professional team of instructors, effective and diverse set of yoga courses, and well-equipped facilities, we highly recommend interested clients to check them out.

  • Prices available on website

Cons

  • Has a maximum capacity of 22 per class which may result in less a attention per person

Four Noble Truths Yoga is a studio where you can immerse yourself in various yoga classes.

What we like is that their classes are able to give individuals a complete sensory experience. They can provide a unique yoga experience for everyone.

They teach a variety of yoga classes, which include Jivamukti, Hot Yoga (Seasonal), Vinyasa, Yin, Power Yoga, Restorative, and Mum & Baby Yoga.

Each class is taught by highly qualified instructors who make sure that each student is given proper attention.

Their various class timetables for both members and non-members are available on their website, which we find convenient.

Pros

  • Variety of yoga classes
  • In-studio and Zoom classes available
  • Intimate studio
  • Fantastic instructor

Cons

  • No classes during Wednesdays and Weekends

Another studio that we think offers the best yoga classes is Copper Lane Yoga Studio.

They have a number of classes, such as Mixed Ability Yoga, Gentle Beginners Yoga, Yoga Shred Inspired HIIT, and private 1:1 bespoke yoga session. What we like is that their classes are available both in-studio and in zoom.

One thing about their classes is that you need to bring your own equipment, like a mat, block and strap.

We think this small boutique-style space is a great place to do yoga with its panoramic views across the surrounding countryside.

We like their intimate set-up because it doesn’t feel impersonal and is less intimidating.

Nicola, the instructor, is fantastic. She’s very warm and friendly, and will definitely make you feel relaxed and welcome during a session with her.

We think classes here are absolutely worth it!
