Pros

  • Uses BPA-free materials for aligners
  • Has an in-house 3D printing facility
  • Quick treatments

Cons

  • May take a while to provide a replacement to broken aligners

Established in 2014, Smile Direct Club is a popular choice among people who want to get braces. In fact, they have already treated over a million patients.

We like that they have several locations around the world – one of which is at the heart of Manchester.

Another thing that we like about them is the materials that they use. For example, their clear aligners and retainers use BPA-free and USA-made materials.

Additionally, these are precisely cut to ensure a smooth and comfortable fit. We found this aspect notable because we talked to a patient who mentioned that they didn’t get as many mouth sores during their treatment.

We also found it convenient that they also have an in-house 3D printing facility that is both ISO-certified and FDA-registered. Here, they create their own aligners.

For those who want quick results, you should consider this clinic. Most of their patients complete treatment at around four to six months.

Another thing that we like is their accessible customer service. You can always contact their staff by phone, email, video chat, and social media, and expect a prompt response during office hours.

You may easily go to their website to check if you are qualified for their services. We think that the “Am I Qualified” button on their homepage lets prospective clients schedule a consultation to check if they are a good candidate for the procedure.

Unfortunately, we found complaints that it takes a long time to receive replacement aligners, in case you break them. It would be best to be as careful as you can once you receive yours from this clinic.

Pros

  • Straightforward pricing
  • Offers flexible payment plans
  • Good customer service

Cons

  • May not grant deposit refunds

One of the best things about Impress is its straightforward pricing. We like that they offer free dental check-ups.

During the check-up, the dentist will assess if you are a good candidate for your preferred procedure. They will also provide you with a 3D video of the final product – which is impressive if you ask us.

Once you have qualified for the procedure and you like your 3D render, it will cost £1,990 to start the treatment. Of course, there will be additional costs depending on your specific case.

We appreciate that they offer treatment plans which are great for those on a budget. Those who wish to go for the installment option can pay £42 for 60 months.

Unfortunately, going for the installment plan will mean your total will increase to over £2,400. This is a big difference if you ask us, but this is a great deal for those who don’t want to pay in full immediately.

Just keep in mind that they rarely grant refunds once you have made your deposit.

We appreciate that their aligners are clear and removable. With this, their patients shared that they could eat, drink, and live comfortably during their treatment.

It takes around six months to complete their treatment. However, this can be longer for those who have more complicated conditions.

We found it nifty that they use technology in all stages of their procedures. You will even see digital renderings of your teeth in every process.

Aside from this, you can also follow up with your doctors through their website and application. Overall, we believe this is a good clinic with convenient payment options.

Pros

  • Caters to adults and children
  • Wide range of services
  • Accessible location
  • Friendly medical practitioners

Cons

  • Some issues of last-minute cancellations

Links Orthodontics is an expert in treating both adults and children. We think that this is what makes them a popular choice for families who want to get treatment together.

We like that they have a variety of options when it comes to aligners. They have traditional braces, high-tech braces, and invisible aligners.

However, the most popular one is their invisible aligner. Many patients we talked to like it because it is a discreet method of getting perfectly aligned teeth.

Aside from that, we like that they have a wide range of services, including cosmetic treatments such as teeth whitening. As mentioned by one of their patients, their teeth whitening service is highly effective.

Most of their clients are from Bury, Prestwich, Whitefield, Salford Quays, and other nearby areas, as it is accessible via private vehicles and public transportation.

Another good thing about them is that they have friendly medical practitioners. We believe that this clinic can help people with anxiety get their aligners in place.

During the treatment, the orthodontists will pay close attention to you. They will also be patient in answering all of your concerns and inquiries.

Unfortunately, not everyone is happy with their services. We noted several cases of last-minute appointment cancellations, so we recommend confirming your schedule via phone before heading to the clinic.

Pros

  • Wide range of services
  • Requires few dental appointments

Cons

  • Inconsistent pricing

360 Dental Care stands out because they offer\ the broadest range of services of all the clinics on this list. Of course, one of those is teeth aligners.

One of their popular options is Invisalign, an invisible aligner that is removable, comfortable, and almost invisible.

We like that they can provide an image of what your teeth will look like after the procedure during the initial consultation. This is particularly helpful if you are undecided if you want to proceed with the treatment.

Getting Invisalign also means that you will need fewer appointments compared to those who have traditional braces. We believe this is why this option works better for patients busy with school and work.

Another thing we like about this option is that you will only be required to visit the clinic every six to eight weeks for adjustments.

Once the treatment is complete, they will recommend that you get a teeth whitening procedure. Conveniently, this treatment is also available in their clinic.

Lastly, they will also provide a retainer to help you keep your newly-aligned teeth in place.

However, you have to confirm the rates of your procedure before proceeding. It was a downer to find instances where the patients were charged more than the initial quoted price.

Pros

  • Offers virtual and physical consultation
  • Wide range of treatments
  • Over 40 years of experience
  • Experienced staff members

Cons

  • May have issues with appointment-setting

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, many patients have preferred online consultations with health professionals. We like that Northenden House Orthodontics offers such a service.

You can either set an appointment for a virtual or physical consultation. During this session, the orthodontist will pay close attention to your concerns.

After that, we appreciate that they provide options when it comes to the best treatment for you. Northenden House Orthodontics has many orthodontic treatment options for patients.

They have hidden braces and fixed braces. We also like that they even offer Orthognathic Surgery for severe cases.

For the treatments, we think they are a reliable choice because they have been offering orthodontic services for over 40 years.

Notably, some of their practitioners are members of GDC (General Dental Council) and BOS (British Orthodontic Society). There are also Specialist Orthodontic Hospital Consultants on the team.

In our surveys, we found that their patients have commended them for seamless treatments. They also noted that the staff members are all professionals who take the extra mile to assist all patients.

Unfortunately, there have been cases where they had issues with appointment setting. We suggest that you confirm your appointment with them as two patients were scheduled simultaneously.
