Picture this: you want a break from the “ultra modern” urban life, somewhere to settle down or slow down, away from all the noise and hubbub of living in a big city. But oh no, you don’t want to be too far from all that the city has to offer! So, what do you choose?
Well, for us, the answer has to be Manchester’s Four Heatons, of course!
Don’t get us wrong, getting right into the heart of the city can be pretty fun, but that’s for daytime trips and nightlife scenes. If long-time peace and quiet is more of your style, then this neighbourhood will perfectly suit you!
It has its own brand of quaint charm, and after reading about what it has to offer, you might picture yourself getting a fresh start there!
Where are Manchester’s Four Heatons?

You’ll find all four of these areas in the suburbs of Stockport, specifically in the northern part of Stockport.

Heaton Mersey

Heaton Mersey is located east of Didsbury, and a part of its border runs against the River Mersey. It’s southwest of Heaton Chapel and Heaton Moor, while it lies west of Heaton Norris.
Heaton Moor

Heaton Moor is northeast of Heaton Mersey, northwest of Heaton Norris, and southwest of Heaton Chapel.
Heaton Norris

Heaton Norris is east of Heaton Moor, northeast of Heaton Mersey, and south of Heaton Chapel.
