Pros

  • Great space with natural lighting
  • Accessible location
  • Useful facilities
  • Engaging activities

Cons

  • Limited payment methods

Work.Life is a nice space for small teams and startups. We think that this intimate space has everything you need to run an office.

The quirky and modern design makes it popular with those who want a refreshing and easy-going atmosphere. According to a client, the space makes work less stressful.

Their space offers two floors that have beautiful natural sunlight. For us, this is excellent at increasing productivity.

Another thing we like is that its location at Brown Street is also accessible. You may quickly drop by, whether by car or public transportation.

If you want to ride a bike, you will be pleased with their secured bike storage. We were pleased that there is enough space to store accessories like your helmet and other gear.

Another thing that we appreciate about Work.Life is that they can cater to those with virtual team members. The private phone booths and meeting rooms are accessible for virtual meetings.

Another good thing about Work.Life is that you can also spend your break here. They offer complimentary tea, coffee, snacks, and refreshments–a plus in our books!

On top of this, pets are also welcome here. We also love that there are fun activities like beer and pizza nights.

On the flip side, we are a bit iffy about their limited payment options since they only accept debit or credit cards.

Pros

  • Accessible location
  • Open 24/7
  • Distraction-free atmosphere
  • Caters to different types of work

Cons

  • Can be slow in returning deposits

Clockwise can be found in the Linley House on Dickinson Street, and we found it interesting that this building has been around since 1963. We also love the character of the place, which can be attributed to its age and history.

It also features the iconic “City of Manchester Electric Light Station” sign since it used to be an electrical station that powered Manchester.

We believe that this location makes it a strategic coworking space. If there are many people in your team, there’s a high chance that most of them will find the area accessible.

There are parking slots for those who would take their vehicle. On the other hand, the location is also convenient for those taking public transportation.

On top of this, there is also 24/7 access to their working spaces. We believe this makes them an excellent choice for those working with virtual teammates in different time zones.

Another commendable thing about them is the interior design of their offices. We found the space relaxing and free from distractions.

Because of this calm atmosphere, some customers shared that they could work more efficiently. Others even shared that it also increased their productivity at work.

Finally, we like that they can cater to a wide variety of work. For example, Clockwise has a podcast room that allows creators to record without disruptions.

Unfortunately, there can be delays in refunding deposits once you have terminated your lease with them. In this case, we recommend that you check their premises carefully before starting a contract with them.

Pros

  • Has multiple locations
  • Easy to access
  • Conducive work area
  • Offers free drinks and snacks

Cons

  • No dedicated parking for customers

WeWork is a coworking space that offers flexibility and accessibility. We found it impressive that they have over 700 locations around the world.

In fact, there are several branches of WeWork in Manchester. But the one that caught our eye is the Quay Street branch.

We like that the location is easy to find – whether by car or public transport.

Just keep in mind that there is no dedicated parking slot. Because of this, we think it would be best to look for one in advance as the area can be busy, especially during office hours.

Despite this minor inconvenience, many are attracted to this WeWork. We also appreciate that they have packages per hour, day, or month.

Another thing that we like is that you can book in just one of their locations. If you are constantly traveling, you may also get global access where you can work at any WeWork worldwide.

Furthermore, they also have various office sizes available. We are happy with the options that range from only a single desk to an entire floor.

According to their customers, the space is conducive to a productive day at work. They also appreciate the meeting rooms where they can freely discuss matters with coworkers.

If you need a break from working, there are also relaxing spaces where you can unwind. On top of this, you can enjoy free coffee, tea, and snacks.

Overall, we believe that this is a great place for those who are willing to commute or spend time finding a parking lot.

Pros

  • Luxurious coworking space
  • Open 24/7
  • Has useful amenities
  • Pet-friendly

Cons

  • Members-only access on holidays
  • Small meeting rooms

Beehive Lofts is a go-to workspace for those who want to experience luxury. They offer a comfortable and posh working area.

We like that they are accessible with their 24/7 operating hours. However, only members are allowed to work there during holidays.

Aside from the usual desks, there are lounges where you can relax while taking breaks from work. We think this is great for creatives who need inspiration in the middle of the day.

They also have a kitchen that is accessible to all customers. We like the availability of diner seats where you can eat or drink while you work.

Their meeting rooms are also highly commended. We are impressed that one of them has a 75″ screen that you can use during presentations or virtual meetings.

However, the biggest meeting room only has a capacity of 14 people. This is few compared to other meeting rooms in the area, which can hold up to 20 people.

Because of its limited space, we think Beehive Lofts is an ideal option for you if you have a small team.

Another great thing about this place is that pets are allowed in the establishments. This means less pet daycare costs if you have a furry companion that you don’t want to leave home.

As shared by someone who works here, pets serve as stress relievers in the work area. If you are concerned about hygiene, you will be pleased that the staff members help clean the amenities.

Pros

  • Wide variety of office space
  • Meeting rooms in multiple locations
  • Hospitable customer service

Cons

  • Slow response to online inquiries

Colony is a coworking space popular among creatives, freelancers, and startup companies. Based on our assessment, they can provide an area that balances productivity and rest.

We like that they offer private workspaces of various sizes. Whether you are looking for a space for 2 or 50, they will be able to cater to you.

If you are traveling to the area for a short while, you can avail of their day pass. On the other hand, we appreciate that there are also options for long-term rentals.

We think that one thing that sets them apart from other coworking spaces in Manchester is their meeting rooms. They have several locations that are spread across the city.

On their website, you will see the location, capacity, rates, and other important information. This is great for those who want to enjoy different sceneries during team or client meetings.

Another good thing about them is their customer service. We are happy to share that they have hospitable staff members who will check on you to ensure you have everything you need.

An added perk at Colony is the presence of their office dogs that offer stress relief when needed.

However, there are concerns about late responses to online inquiries. In this case, we highly recommend you pick up the phone and call them instead.

Cons

We are highly impressed by the quality of the working spaces offered by Use Space. They offers assistance to individuals and groups in need of services not commonly offered by other companies.

We commend the company’s wide range of options for workspaces as well. There’s a pace to suit any working pace, whether it’s for one person or for a whole company.

And most importantly, we like how functional their facilities are, ensuring a comfortable and efficient working environment for everyone.

However, they are closed on weekends, which restricts people who desire their services from accessing them. Furthermore, they are only limited to one branch for now, which limits people’s access to their offerings.

Still, looking at the efficiency, comfort, and effectiveness of their service makes it a highly recommendable place for everyone.

Trinity Offices is a company that offers its clients a wide range of coworking spaces ideal for small businesses to not only have access to various business opportunities but also broaden their network and grow their own.

We like that their facilities are equipped with a reliable and inclusive range of amenities such as steadfast broadband speeds, accessible, free printing services, unique mailing addresses, and well-furnished working environments among others.

Furthermore, since they have accommodated various companies from differing industries over the course of their career, their staff and both experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to providing the best and most personalized package for each industry they handle.

Note though that they have limitations when it comes to the number of people they are able to accommodate since their spaces and facilities are geared for small businesses mostly.

Nonetheless, with their proactive and responsive team of professionals, highly accessible coworking space locations, and secure and well-furnished facilities, we highly recommend them to clients looking for a space to boost productivity and grow their business.

Pros

  • Unique and Characterful Space
  • Varied Meeting Facilities
  • Productivity and Creativity Focus

Cons

  • Limited Capacity

MyHQ stands out from traditional coworking spaces with its homage to Manchester’s history and industrial heritage. The incorporation of steampunk elements adds a touch of creativity and uniqueness to the workspace.

Unlike others, the atmosphere and aesthetics of the space can inspire productivity and creativity, providing a refreshing change from generic office environments.

What’s great about them is that they offer a range of meeting facilities that cater to different needs.

From utilizing the original vault to the new rooftop level and even a reconditioned police box, these spaces provide interesting and memorable settings for client meetings, presentations, or brainstorming sessions. The availability of diverse meeting spaces adds versatility and convenience for members.

We prefer MyHQ because they prioritize the comfort of its members. The shared breakout areas and kitchen provide spaces for relaxation and socialization, while all-inclusive all-day refreshments ensure that members can stay energized throughout the day.

Unfortunately, MyHQ has a limited capacity with 52 seats spread across four floors. While this boutique setting may offer a more intimate and focused environment, it might not be suitable for businesses or individuals seeking a larger coworking community or networking opportunities.
