I have to say that they were excellent to deal with throughout, helping me with queries on the grant itself all the way through the installation and final invoice process. The installation itself arranged quickly once the voucher was issued by HMRC at a time that suited me. The Cooney staff arrived on time, taking care to put down dust sheets for the route to the loft. Although a relatively new operation, RZ Eco Energy is gradually making itself known in the green energy industry. We’re particularly impressed by it being TrustMark-registered, albeit being less than 5 years in the business.

Most of its services are related to insulation—every part of the house seems to be covered, including the loft. RZ Eco Energy handles every step of the process from assessment, installation, and aftercare with ease.

What we appreciate the most about this service provider (though it might be a double-edged sword) is its honesty and groundedness: it doesn’t promise a definite lead time. 

For us, this straightforwardness on the effects of red tape (especially for services under grants) is better than getting disappointed with missed set deadlines.

That said, your mileage may vary in relation to RZ Eco Energy’s speed in starting projects. However, once the paperwork’s settled, the company can and will do its best to give prompt and quality service to clients.

Green Orb started in the middle of the pandemic and is composed of fairly young (millennial) team members. This youth, however, didn’t stop it from already registering itself with TrustMark—a stellar move on top of its already mint service.

This company offers the basics: insulation, solar power, and heating, all with the added commitment to going the extra mile if the HVAC job warrants it.  We’re glad to see that it’s backed by solid reviews from past clients.

Besides that, we are impressed by the fact that Green Orb provides free surveys, meaning you’ll only need to pay once the actual installation happens. Moreover, the team is available every day of the week, so less worries about scheduling issues.

We would’ve liked it better if Green Orb’s online presence were much more polished. The bare bones website really makes us feel iffy and takes away some points from the reputation side, even though they’re actually great!

If you’re looking for the most established loft insulation installer in town, then Concept Heating might be the one you need. It’s been around for over 25 years now, and is a favourite of social housing providers in the northwest.

We initially thought that maybe it’s the company’s number of years in the business that’s making it a top choice for the job. 

However, talking with some of its previous clients made things clear—the reliable service and fantastic communication skills of its staff are its aces. The Concept Heating staff doesn’t miss a beat in informing clients of details every step of the way.

This is music to our ears, as we understand how nerve-wracking it might be to handle multiple structures in one go (under the umbrella of a housing district) compared to individual ones in a less hectic schedule.
