- FAQs about Treetop Golf Manchester
Not to blow my own trumpet, but I’ve got a knack for mini golf. I’ve dominated the game a couple of times—because I crush my opponents, even my nieces and nephews! But I did find that my usual places have gotten a bit boring.
The typical windmills and pirate ships do get old, but that’s not a hiccup anymore! Treetop Golf Manchester, as I’ve experienced, serves up a unique way to elevate the game.
The sounds, lighting, impressive decorations, and challenges make every swing a cracking one! Give these obstacles a good thrashing with our helpful guide, complete with every single thing you need to know for a banging time!
What is Treetop Golf Manchester?
Treetop Golf Manchester is a mini golf course with an immersive experience. It will take you to either the jungle or the ancient city, which are both filled with decorations for a more engaging time.
Best Time to Go
To skip the crowded hours, visit early, around the time they open. The place won’t be too busy, allowing you to enjoy playing with your mates.
Avoid going when it’s near the closing time so you can be more relaxed and avoid hurrying to finish the game. Expect a little under an hour to complete a whole course.
Weekday visits will have fewer people than weekends. Expect crowds during half-term or in the summer, when the kids are out of school and the tourists turn up.

What Are the Courses in Treetop Golf Manchester
Tropical Trail
Media credit: treetop_golf
There are two themed mini golf courses. One of them is Tropical Trail, a tropical rainforest experience with lush plants, vines, trees (and some with faces), and wild animals—don’t worry, there aren’t real animals here, just decorations.
It has 18 holes, which will take you all around the jungle. There are a total of 9 landmarks, as well as intricate challenges, obstacles that will throw you off your game, and an overall incredible scenery for a unique mini golf experience.
And since you’re in a tropical rainforest, expect the sounds of birds, ponds, and “poisonous” frogs. You’ll hear the birds chatter and the frogs singing, as well as see illuminating trees.
This course is for kids and adults of all skill levels—yes, even if it’s your first time playing mini golf! The estimated play time is about 40 minutes, but it can take a little bit more than that sometimes, depending on your group’s skill level.
Ancient City

The Ancient City will have archaeological remains (not the real ones, by the way), ruins, secrets, hidden gems, and a shrine for the monkey queen.
Anyone who enjoys a world lost to time will have a buzzing experience here. Kids and adults are welcome to play a round at the 18-hole course, regardless of skill level.
Just like the Tropical Trail, this has a total of 9 landmarks. As you move forward, you’ll discover spirits and sacred characters, hear sounds coming straight from the giant heads, and spot snakes on the courses.
The whole course can be finished in under an hour, but add a quarter more if you’re coming with the kids.
Bonus 19th Hole

What’s the Bonus 19th Hole, you ask? It’s a free swing for every round of the course, no matter what adventure you decide to cross. It’s basically your chance to show off your mini golf skills!
What’s it for? If you manage to sink the putt, you’ll win a free 18-hole course! This comes after you finish your original game, and every single player has the chance to win!
Quiet Sessions

The sounds and lights at Treetop Golf can be overstimulating for some. If you fancy a calm environment without all the high jinks, booking a quiet session is the way to go.
This is available every last Sunday of the month in the morning, from 9 am to 10:30 am. You’ll be going through the same course with 18 holes, but this time, there aren’t any chatter or flickering lights.
A quiet session at Treetop Manchester is ideal for individuals with autism, as it reduces all the racket to cater to their sensory needs. This is also available in the other locations, but with a different date.
And the quietness is not just at the mini golf course. Any strobe lighting and sounds in the whole venue will be turned off—that includes the loo and the dining area.
Where to Eat in Treetop Golf Manchester
The Market is the place where the dining options at Treetop Golf are. There aren’t loads of choices, but with enough variety for kids and adults.
Pizza Cabana

Pricing: ££
Menu
For a slice of heaven after a brilliant putt, head over to Pizza Cabana. The name is a bit of a giveaway, as they sell handmade pizzas and sandwiches with pizza flavours.
There’s something for meat lovers, vegans, and vegetarians. Gluten-free options are also available—just remember to mention it to the staff.
What to take a bite out of? The Veggie Supreme is absolutely ace, with a delicious tomato base, sun-dried tomatoes, Roquito peppers, and mozzarella.
Grab Dough Sticks & Nutella for some side munchies. It’s simple but a good sweet addition to your otherwise savoury meal.
The Thirsty Toucan

Pricing: £££
Menu
When you’re feeling parched, The Thirsty Toucan will be your pub at Treetop Golf Manchester. It’s for adults, as the menu only features drinks, such as cocktails, beer, wines, and mocktails.
Yes, you can sip your favourite alcoholic bevvie. There’s even a decent selection of craft beer, which surprised us at first, given that this is a mini golf venue.
A refreshing drink is putt-fect after a time at the Tropical Trail, so we suggest trying out Tropical Smash, made with Portabello Road Gin, pineapple, and lime. If you’re the designated driver, stick with the Jungle Cooler for a fresh, sober drink.
Jungle Buzz Cafe

Pricing: £
Menu
No Manchester experience is complete without a post-game trip to the cafe. After a round at Treetop Golf, nip over to Jungle Buzz Cafe for well-crafted drinks made with local coffee beans from Hard Line Coffee and Clifton Coffee Roasters.
The cappuccino is a classic choice, but we did enjoy the hot chocolate as our non-caffeine option. It was rich and luscious, a real treat after completing the challenges from the ancient ruins! Although they have tea as well!
For the youngsters, the Jungle Shakes offer creamy treats in a glass. The Viva Vanilla is a proper classic, but the Strawberry Slurp is also bang on for something sweet, creamy, and with a touch of refreshing taste.

Tips When Visiting Treetop Golf Manchester
Show up early.
There are no reservations, so it’s best to turn up early before the crowds start flocking in.
Beat the rush.
Stick to weekday visits if you can. On weekends, get there once they open so you’re first in line and can enjoy a quieter mini golfing experience.
Bring your debit or credit card.
Treetop Golf is a cashless venue. Don’t show up without a way to pay for your tickets.
Pop on comfortable clothing.
Avoid restricting outfits so you can move more freely. Wear closed-toe shoes, preferably trainers that are easy on the feet.
Don’t bring expensive jewellery and valuables.
Lockers are available, but it’s not worth the risk of bringing expensive items.
Refrain from arriving late.
Don’t rush the game. A gentle pace is ideal for maximum fun. The place starts turning off the lights half an hour after closing time.
Consider the quiet sessions.
If you want to avoid the loud noise and strobe lighting, visit on the last Sunday of the month.
