The Top 5 Interior Designers in Manchester

How we picked

Credentials – A candidate with a degree or accreditation shows they had formal education and training and demonstrated technical proficiency. This ensures the company has the proper qualifications to do an exemplary job.
Dependable – A designer with a track record of success will likely have access to a wide range of resources for the project and can finish within their given time frame, allowing their clients to depend on them for the results they want.
Client Involvement – Working with an interior designer who understands your vision can make all the difference in the outcome of your project. A designer should be able to communicate and relate to clients well.
Cost – A designer can only work within your budget limits. That’s why they must do their absolute best with the budget you provide, giving you value for your money.

Pros

  • Invests time in client involvement and communication
  • Diligent about working within the budget

Cons

  • Services only cover areas that the eye can see
  • Has yet to have bigger clients aside from one-room projects

Interior Design CH has been operating since 2011. This company is distinct from others because it’s dedicated to giving fast and cost-effective services.

The company is of great help in redesigning bedrooms. The interior designer, Cynthia, can create a scenic place to rest after a long day of hard work, giving clients their money’s worth.

We have nothing but praise for the designer’s ability to give clients what they want within the budget they give. Clients we polled can attest to this claim and said they were given their dream interiors without going over their budget.

In addition, we would like to commend the company’s dedication to providing their clients with constant updates and involving them in every matter needing their opinion. We appreciate that they value their clients’ inputs.

However, this company is yet to have an extensive portfolio filled with more significant projects. We think they can benefit from going beyond one-room projects.

Because of its limited project types, the company is also limited in what it can do for its clients. They can’t change the space’s structures and will only improve areas that the eye can see.

Unlike more prominent companies that can create more functional places by dividing the space or changing a room’s structure, this company can’t do that.

With that said, we’re still happy to recommend them for small-scale projects.

Pros

  • Has worked with prominent names and bigger spaces
  • Incorporates scent in their designs
  • Sells their own fragrances

Cons

  • Limited number of clients
  • Inquiries are sometimes answered a week later

From working for Deansgate Square, Victoria Riverside, and other luxury apartments to large-scale companies like Matillion and Nestle, Jolie Studio Ltd has quite an extensive portfolio.

This company’s interior designing profile proves their skills and experience are what attract their clients. We believe the thing that makes this company stand out from the rest is its ability to incorporate scent into its finished designs.

They infuse their crafted fragrances in the linens, throw pillows, reed diffusers, and curtains. The designers also sometimes add candles and potpourris

It isn’t bad either that the scents last for two to three weeks. You can easily head to their website when the fragrance runs out and order more.

Unfortunately, this company’s disadvantage is its small staff. It can’t keep up with a huge clientele’s demands.

Because of this, they’ve limited how many clients they can serve at a particular period.

The small size of the team also results in client inquiries being answered late, ranging from three days to a week. This discourages potential clients from working with the company.

We think it’s a shame that a company with much promise can’t reach its full potential because it doesn’t have enough employees.

This isn’t because the company isn’t trying; they’re actively looking for workers. We can only hope they get the help they need and reach their fullest potential.

Pros

  • Follows given time line excellently
  • Has designed for bigger companies
  • Has a wide vast of furniture sources

Cons

  • Only caters to workspaces’ interior design
  • Staff interactions felt weird and awkward

Oktra is a company that believes every employee should have a workplace they can draw inspiration from, proven by their track record of giving their corporate clients the ideal office space they had in mind.

They create functional and beautiful workspaces using their client’s vision and the company’s knowledge to create an optimal space.

We commend the company’s punctuality. The team gives clients the results they want within the time frame set.

However, one of the company’s flaws is its limited services. Whereas other companies offer interior design services for both residential and commercial properties, this company provides services only to the latter.

But because of this specialty, the company excels in serving the commercial sector. They made workspaces for more prominent companies like Samsung, Wilson Wright, and Network Rail.

Besides this, one service feature we like about them is that they can source from many suppliers and retailers all over Europe. This means that clients can choose from a wide range of designs (or even order custom pieces) that fit the style of their office.

The company also offers recycling and refurbishment of clients’ old furniture on brand with their goal of sustainability.

However, it concerns us that some of the company’s staff seem unhappy working with some of their coworkers. Maybe an unhealthy working environment is the culprit.

We hope the company addresses this because it may affect their service quality too. If a team doesn’t want to work together, this may lead to project complications or miscommunications.

Pros

  • Sells vintage homeware and more home items
  • Gives great advice on any themed design
  • They have an online shop on their website

Cons

  • Prioritizes selling home essentials and decorations
  • Only designs spaces with the items bought from their shop
  • Sells limited items on their website

Although David Gavin Design is primarily a shop for home essentials and decorations, they still offer interior designing services to those who order from their shop.

Unlike other interior designers who only offer designing and planning services, this company also gives the clients the option to order all of their home needs from their shop—from furniture, candles, and curtains to decorations.

This saves the clients time and money, as they don’t have to go to other shops for decor and supplies.

We’re also glad to find that they offer vintage homeware among their selections.

We’re disappointed, however, that the company only designs for clients who have bought most of their materials from their shop.

This didn’t bother most of the clients we interviewed but may discourage future clients who want to purchase items from another supplier.

Even so, the company thrives in the industry. Clients like Jillian had her living room redesigned using the company’s goods and services.

She recounted how she, the interior designer, and the store staff collaborated to choose colors and patterns that would fit her bohemian theme.

However, be warned that the company’s website isn’t updated regularly. It currently shows a small number of items for sale.

We asked them about this, and they told us they had many pieces in their store and showroom.

If you want to see more of their goods, we suggest you go to their showroom personally.

Pros

  • Offers online consultation services
  • Gives tips on how to execute their designs for DIYers
  • Offers sourcing services for large projects

Cons

  • Only has a few hands-on interior designing experiences
  • Is mostly a consultant

Most of the time, people hire interior designers for their ability to come up with ideas and carry these out in their clients’ homes. But Auric Design Studio’s clients mostly hire them to plan, brainstorm ideas, or consult.

There are only a few projects where the company implemented its plans to completion.

Most of the time, they would be outsourced by larger companies for projects like showrooms, luxury apartments, and other shared spaces for bigger establishments.

We know this company only has a few design execution experiences in its portfolio, but for the few we’ve seen, the company truly has something to offer.

Despite their limited experience, they’re still sought after by many clients for their excellent advice and meticulous designs.

We also can’t help but praise the company for offering online consultation services to those who can’t reach its location. A huge win for clients wishing for a convenient way to access its services.

This service also paved the way for the company to reach international clients looking for convenient interior designers.

The company then sends clients the finished plans and teaches them how to start their home improvements.

This is another service the company is known for. Clients go to them with the desire to redesign or create beautiful spaces on their own. So if you love to DIY, we think they’re a great fit for you.
