Didsbury Beauty Clinic is an innovative medispa that caught our attention because of their positive client feedback and impressive treatments. After trying them ourselves, it wasn’t hard to see why they’re a respected clinic in Manchester. 

They offer facials like Hydra Peeling, Hydradermie, The Instant Lift Treatment, among others. We do wish they had a more varied list of facials available that would target different kinds of skin issues. 

Aside from facials, they also offer semi-permanent cosmetics. They can do your eyebrow, eye, or lip makeup and eyelash enhancement. 

We like that they offer IPL Skin Rejuvenation and Guinot Eye Logic at affordable rates. So they’re a great option for when you’re on a tight budget but don’t want to scrimp on the quality of services. 

They’re very versatile, which we like. They have a wide range of services offered. 

We’re also impressed that they offer patch tests to ensure their products work well with your skin before doing the complete treatment. This shows us that they are meticulous with a strict attention to detail. 

From what we’ve seen, they maintain a hygienic and sterile facility. The space is clean and the staff are wearing the proper protective equipment needed. 

Based on our survey, they’re very well known for their waxing and hair removal services. So if that’s something you’re looking for, they’re a good choice.  

The Beauty Code is a classy boutique-style salon that started in 2019. They are run by a team with over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, so they’ve been in the business for quite some time. 

Their location is near the Didsbury Village Metrolink entrance and is a one-minute walk from East Didsbury station. There is also free local parking available in front of the establishment, which is a bonus. 

We love that they use renowned skincare brands like CND Creative Play Gel, Guinot, Skinbreeze, and Neal’s Yard. They also offer their services at reasonable prices, making for quite a good deal. 

In addition, we also like that they cater to the skin needs of any age. From teenage acne and blemish treatments to anti-aging regimens, there’s something for everyone here. 

We did notice, however, that the prices for facials can be a bit hefty. From what we’ve seen, their treatments range from £55 to £110, depending on the service and product line.

Another slight downside to them would be their facilities. Although clean and well-kept, the area is quite small, so they can’t accommodate a lot of people at the same time. 

This might mean that you’ll have to deal with long waiting times for your sessions. We also noticed that the space is not accessible, so people with mobility issues might have a hard time going here. 

Skin Glow Cosmetics is owned and managed by Shirelle Roche Mcgowan. She has extensive experience within the industry and specialises in treatments such as deep cleansing, dermaplaning, microneedling, and aesthetics.

Their location is near Didsbury Village Manchester Metrolink Station, which makes it easily accessible if you’re commuting. 

After trying their services, we’re impressed with the level of sanitation and hygiene observed by the establishment. For us, this makes the session feel more comfortable because you’ll be sure they practise utmost care for their clients.

Before a facial session, Shirelle conducts a thorough consultation to discuss your goals and desired outcome. The clients we’ve talked to claimed to like the personalised feel that Shirelle offers. 

Furthermore, they also provide services for pregnant women who are in their first trimester. 

We’re also impressed with their reasonable price range. For example, their classic facial costs £50, while a single session for microneedling is £120. 

In addition, we love that they also offer packages for multiple sessions at a discounted rate.

Their major downside is that they only accept cash payments and have no other financing options. So if you’re booking an appointment here, keep this in mind. 

In addition to that, some client reviews claim that it’s difficult to book sessions, especially during peak seasons.

Despite these, we love their aftercare consultation. After each session, you will be provided with guidelines on how to take care of your skin until your next appointment, which we like. 

They are also open to any questions and concerns to ensure your skin’s well-being post-treatment.

Overall, they are a great option for getting high-quality, specialised facials, especially for those looking for dermaplaning and microneedling treatments in particular. 

As one of Manchester’s highest-rated medical spas, SkinLabz is well known for their bespoke and specialised skincare and brow treatments.

Their clinic at Georgia MC Aesthetics in Ancoats is modern, luxurious, and well-maintained. It’s so easy to feel at ease here. 

From what we’ve seen, their policies for sanitation and hygiene are strictly implemented. We can see this especially when they’re handling clients.

In addition, they also provide well-documented consultations to outline a treatment plan and ensure that their products and equipment work well on your skin. We love their attention to detail. 

A significant drawback to them is their price. Their classic facials range from £70.25 to £108.75, which is pretty expensive compared to other options on our list. 

Furthermore, they also don’t have any flexible financing options aside from Clearpay. This can be a challenge for those working with a limited budget.

The way we see it, however, given their dedication to their quality standards and advanced treatment methods, you get the value of what you’re paying for.

We also love their efficient aftercare services. They’ll make sure to provide a comprehensive set of post-treatment guidelines to ensure you get the most out of each session.

Overall, Skinlabz is a solid choice despite being more pricey, especially for those needing specialised skin treatments.

Evie’s Retreat is one of Didsbury’s most renowned and well-established salons. It’s a boutique beauty salon offering a wide range of skincare, spa, and nail treatments.

Their location at the Lapwing Lane Parade, just opposite the West Didsbury tram stop, is very convenient to find and visit. 

As soon as we stepped inside the salon, we were impressed by the spacious area and peaceful ambiance. It gives the perfect setting for a relaxing spa day. 

As for their facial services, we love that they offer various affordable options. For example, their classic facial cost £27.30. 

For those who have specific skin concerns, their Aqua3 Hydra Facials cost £67.We think their prices suit those looking to get regular budget-friendly facials.

It’s unfortunate that they don’t offer packages for multiple sessions. The way we see it, you won’t get your regular services at discounted rates even with multiple sessions.

They do offer special offers every month, however. Do note that these are only for selected services and their classic facials.

We also noticed that some clients we’ve talked to commented that their customer service can be further improved. So that’s something to consider.
